The night arrived swiftly this day and as with the dying of the sound of day, so began the song of the creatures of the night.
Normally the Shinobi’s would rest, even for a little, but not tonight. Tonight they were determined to catch one of the assassins red-handed or preferably, not so ‘red’ stained.
Vizier and Hayame were out watching their tents, looking out for anyone willing to approach them, trying to flank them if they did so.
Hisaki was in his tent, ever so restless, writing letters of report to all the 12 Kages, using his special herbal tea to keep him going.
Zama was leaning against a pole that was left behind by the people that ran their businesses. It was probably too heavy to carry it with them. Ever so lazy, he stretched out and closed his eyes, giving them a well-deserved rest.
Tsuna decided to approach Zama, disturbing his rest.

“So uhm… You’re not gonna stay awake tonight?”, he asked Zama.
“Go away man, I’m trying to get some shuteye. It’s been a while since I had a good night’s sleep.”, Zama replied harshly.
“I don’t think that’s very clever. Shouldn’t you like… Try to catch the last guy with the rest of us?”, Tsuna replied in disagreement to Zama’s behavior.
“Nah, I think they got it. If not, we’ll see who drops down in the end.”, Zama replied with a cold tone.
“Dude… So harsh… ”, Tsuna thought to himself as he turned around and left Zama alone. Zama closed his eyes again and continued his rest.

Meanwhile, the ANBUs were having a hard time investigating the place, since everyone was restlessly staying awake to guard their lives. They asked whoever was on the move to please stay at least near their tents. The assassin would have a hard time trying to assassinate someone tonight, seeming most of the Shinobis were wide awake – a test of skill and patience indeed.

It would seem that tonight, the skill was great and patience was plenty, as the assassin went behind the back of a tent, went through the entrance and swiftly struck his victim from behind, cutting his victim’s throat, leaving a gash from left to right. As he struck his final scream, just before he got grabbed, the Shinobis hearing it quickly rushed to the source of the scream, only to find the corpse of Hayame (DarthTyrael), laying in a pool of blood, turning more and more crimson as the sun rose above the horizon.
