Though this topic might be considered a shitpost, I have been asking myself the same question for a while, until I heard a legend, whispered only within the darkest corners of the forum:
Story goes there's a man, who controls the entire dev team, who remains hidden from our sight. He breathes life into the world by mere numbers, parameters and variables, intertwining to form virtual DNA.
The updates are dealt to whoever can pay enough, often done in the most obscure places. His face is not known due to it being darkened by his hood, often dealing in the night.
