It's strong long range, maybe even invisible because your puppeteer is hidden but if found he has the biggest weakness which not only encourages teamwork but also gives us the chance to say, it's not overpowered because of said weakness or this and that.

I personally believe you may use him when you're noticed in a fight, but if the enemy doesn't notice you, you'd most likely stay hidden and play from the shadows, your weakness is close range and that's why you as the puppet user stay away from the fight but your Puppet takes the damage and makes the plays.

I really like the idea of movement being thought of as yeah it might be a problem.
And of course it's not a main priority it's mainly an idea I wanted to get out there before it was forgotten.

Continue talking about it and they'll have to make it a thing! Onward!

Normally what I see from rp servers is the EM is reserved for a high ranking super admin as he can see over the game.

Not only that but a very trustworthy person should be chosen and if he or she isn't active a possible multitude of EMs will have to be instated.

Nice thought limits! I'll be sure to round up the rest of the good ideas you guys offer, I think this could also help with people who have summonings.

Nice thinking would work nicely. Of course later on more jutsu can be added but for now before release a simple left attack button would be fine.

So I've noticed puppets may or may not be a thing and for those (by those I mean most likely only me) wanting puppetry style attacks or gameplay, I think I have a solution.

A set of numbers or a button can be pressed to summon a small non-moving puppet that moves to the right when you do, back when you do etc... The puppet does not move 10 pixels away from where you placed him. Let's say he's infront of you and you're currently holding him there then move to the right, he'll mimic your actions where he is at.

"But Rene? How will puppets attack!?" Well, a basic left click can be implemented to make the puppet deal small damage infront of it until the full release of the game, this won't really matter. Once you are holding the puppet (wherever he may be) holding shift will allow you to stop moving your character but now move his, the puppet hovers over wherever you move him using the basic WASD keys and can attack from there. Not only is this good for long range but also takes in the element of having a disadvantage, hiding in a tree or behind a wall while using this technique could be advantageous but whilst close to the enemy it'd be best to simply run.

Summary:
- Summon the puppet using a key.
- Move around and have the puppet intact to mimic your movements whether he be infront of you or to your sides.
- Have you be able to move the puppet and lose control of your character by holding shift.
- Added: Place limits on puppet damage, and speed as it will most likely not be the same as a regular player's. (Or at least shouldn't)

I know I'm asking for a lot here but I feel like puppets can really make a fun change of pace to games and also add some strategy to combat.
If this is too much to work on I can completely understand. (Especially if it's bottom priority) I simply as a player would like to see this implemented into the game, hopefully it can be done.

*(WIP) Keep in mind this may be a Work In Progress due to added suggestions.

Shinobi Life Online Clans / Re: The Kage-tsuki pasu clan

Seems cool, I think we already have a wood-based clan and if you used a format I would think it would look a lot better.

I always look forward to more clans in the game so I wouldn't give it a negative!

For ideas I would say the beliefs category, like training that is specific to them, or customs. I really don't have any ideas but I think the more you make it on your own the better it'll look.

Shinobi Life Online Clans / The Dōruhausu Clan
« on: September 27, 2015, 09:20:53 »
Clan name: Dōruhausu (Doll House)

Clan logo:

Similar to this, except different like the ones seen below.

*Yamachi and his puppet*
For more works done by my sister take a look at: https://instagram.com/annapavot
Founder: Temenn Dōruhausu

Leader: Yamachi Dōruhausu

Affiliation: Living within a temple near the Hidden Hills or perhaps in it if necessary.

Clan history:

A fairly new clan, born after the other villages began rising, late to the affairs, great craftsmen Temmen Dōruhausu was in need of shelter and so hidden under a small tomb luck had drawn him a hand worthy of a king. Temmen found puppets, laid away by the previous tomb-owners and so with great care he began mastering the art of the puppets, with little breath left in him. He went to the nearest villages to seek aid in reviving his clan, those followed were named the Fathers and were placed under the Dōruhausu name. Thus the legacy continued onward and for that day, when inside any temple, silence was to be kept in not only respect for Temmen who had passed, but for the Many. The Many were supposedly those who had left the tombs abandoned and were seen as the true founding fathers. The Many's Shrines were to be prayed upon if sacred acts were bestowed in it's eyes.

This new clan taught their Kin not only the ways of the craft, but of the wielding of great puppets. So for some generations the temples were dusted and the Kin came pouring out in this new little community that old Temmen had founded. The clan would go on to be peaceful, silent, unseen by the rest of the world, and quite good at their purpose.

Afters years, one of Temmen's subordinates in training rose above his two colleagues and rose to the title of Great Father for his prowess and knowledge of the group. His name is Yamachi Dōruhausu, a calm, collected and able to burst in times of frustration kind of leader. His puppet although thought to be a Human Puppet (the one from Temmen himself) is simply a replica or at least, that's what he says, Old Temmen is an agile and very hidden puppet keeping most of his weapons and what not kept hidden inside his signature Dōruhausu cloak until needed.

Traditions:
Yearly battles between new Followers (Young Adults over 14) would occur in a chance to show the Great Father and the Fathers their craft and abilities.
Yearly new kin are given not only long robes but at the age of 14 a branding on the back to show their honour.
Isolation and Prayer. When committing an act seen by the Shrines of the Many, prayers or isolation is given to the committee.

Unique traits: There are little Unique Traits other than a natural talent for handling puppet strings. Hair is normally wheat yellow or brown, some rare occurrences are completely fine.

Strengths: Ninjutsu/Bukijutsu (For Summoning & Traps)

Weaknesses: Hand to hand combat, anything other then what they've trained for.

Rival clans:
- N/A

Allied clans:
- Tsukegami Clan

Rankings:
The ranks are as followed:
Great Father (=Kage)
Fathers (=Jonin)
Followers (=Chunin)
Kin (Children under 14)

NOTE: This does not mean they are of the strength of a Jonin or Chunin, merely representational.

Members:

Great Father- Yamachi Dōruhausu

Application Format/Directives:

Fill out the following, if you can't or don't simply put N/A.
Character Name:
Character Gender:
Character Age:
Chakra Nature (Note we won't be training them often):
Kekkei Genkai:
Strengths & Weaknesses (Optional):
Cool facts, traits, extras (Optional):
Backstory (Optional):
NOTE: It is rare to enter the clan and thus you're best chance would be to settle for being born into it.

Rules:
- Silence must be kept at all times when indoors, craftsmen are at work. (10 Days of prayer to the Shrines of the Many)
- Puppet Sparring must be met with respect to the opponent, only those above age fourteen may participate. (Isolation)
- Leaving of the temple or group is strictly ill-advised. (Exile)

NOTE: I notice the problems that "we may not have puppets for a while" and such. I'm just getting these ideas out for those to apply if they wish.
