Title: Any tips for a newbie drawer

I'm awful at drawing...but I want to make a cool drawing for my character. Any tips and just in general advice :)

Draw everyday whenever you can draw things you like and things you don't like start by drawing geometric figures study them practice prespective with them and then when you are ready don't be afraid to draw harder stuff even if it sucks keep doing it and don't give up, also dont be afraid to coppy other people i'ts ok to do that

My grandfather began teaching me how to draw at a young age (5). It was a forced exercise for me but I did it every day for several years. Needless to say my drawings improved from stick figures to proportionate drawings with shading etc... over the years. Point is; keep practicing the same thing until you get expected results. Experiment with different techniques - find your own style of art.

I got a drawing tablet not too long ago but haven't really been active on that. It's kind of weird to use but you get used to it.

Don't use crayons -- besides that, you should be fine given enough time.

"Practice makes perfect", as they say ^_^).

Just keep at it, No matter how frustrated you get. Nothing good comes easy
