Idk if anyone's still interested in this game any more lol, but I'm back from the dead!
Hello everybody, and welcome to Shinobi Life Online's twelth Secret Assassin game!
The roles we will have will be: Shinobi, Assassin, ANBU, Medic, and the Joker.
Signup will be open until Wednesday the 12th of April. To sign up you MUST be prepared to check the forums AT LEAST once a day, no less. You WILL be killed off if you do not post, and it makes the game hell for everybody else. Probably not gonna write any sort of complex story, but if anyone is interested in writing something for it please PM me (Discord would be better but idm)
HOW TO PLAY:
1. In order for the game to commence there must be at least 4 players.
2. Each player will be assigned a role (I will pm you); Either a Shinobi, Assassin, ANBU, Medic or Joker
3. There will be 1 assassin per 4 players
4. Every ‘night’, the Assassins (who will know each other’s identities) will agree to kill someone. They will tell me via pm who their victim is and I will inform the victim of their fate in the thread.
5. Every ‘day’, all of the players will get to vote to kill someone off in to game, in hopes to target the assassin(s).
6. For every 2 Assassins, there will be an ANBU member (meaning none if only 6 people play)
7. ANBU will be able to ask me the identity of a named player (Shinobi or Assassin) once per night (via pm). The ANBU will be on the Shinobi's side, trying to vote the Assassins out of the game.
8. For every 2 Assassins, there will be a Medic (meaning none if only 6 people play)
9. The Medic will be able to protect one person every night, and so if the Assassins vote to kill that person, they will not die. The Medic may not protect themselves. The Medic may not protect the same person two nights in a row.
10. There will be one person randomly chosen as the Joker in each game. The Joker attempts to get himself killed by the Shinobi, and not the Assassins. That is the sole win criteria of the Joker. If the Joker wins, the game does not end until such a time as the standard win conditions have been met.
RULES:
1. If at any point in the game, the Assassins outnumber or kill all of the Shinobi, they win. If all Assassins are killed, the Shinobi win.
2. Lying about your role is authorized. If you’re an assassin you’ll probably want to convince everyone you’re not, so they don’t kill you. Likewise, you can pretend to be an Assassin, ANBU, Medic or Joker if you'd like, but then you would become an instant target. However, you may NOT show your PMs from me to prove your role.
3. 'Day' voting will be done in the thread.
4. The player with the highest number of votes is killed off. In case of a die nobody dies.
5. Use the thread, shoutbox, or inbox messages as your resources. Try to survive.
6. If you are an assassin and you are killed, do not reveal the other assassins out of spite. If the assassins win, you still win too. This rule doesn't apply to the Shinobi.
7. Once you are dead, you may not help other players in any way or participate on the thread or any discussions involving the game. You've lost, boo hoo. Get over it.
8. Roles will be randomly assigned using random.org. Don't ask for a role. ;D
9. If you do not vote in two day phases in a row, you will be killed off.
10. To vote or change your vote, you must clearly state it.

oh and this is just a cheeky suggestion but -- you could make little third party polls to simplify the voting process (with a site where you can change your vote) and link the poll in the post every time a new day starts. However, this would add anonymity to the voting process. Up to you to decide whether or not that would enhance or take away from the game. Looking forward to the start!

as of right now no, but there is 15 people meaning 1 medic, 1 anbu, 1 joker, 3 assassins and 9 shinobi and that the medic was already assassinated... which gives no one a real basis to go off of, so it's along the lines of "you gotta start somewhere"

Right now the vote is tied. The assassins can't pic someone that was voted for already or they will draw suspicion to themselves. Just don't vote or change your votes and nowone will die.

Your forgetting about the anbu!!
They will know and contact you about your roll as the game goes on.
But the only way they can do that is if they have time to find out. Some of us will die in the presses but only by the assassin and not by are wrong guesses. And god help us if nisshomaru is anbu.!!
The order the assassin kill people in is also a clue. Manuster has played this game a lot like I have. At least 1 assassin is probably a player that has played before.
The fact that I'm still here means that I'm an assassin or the assassin don't know me well.

My vote remains the same. I will vote against who I have the most leads against. At the moment, this is Raidnn. Nisshomaru is also suspicious, but it looks like he's about to be executed and in case he's a shinobi or anbu I'd rather not have the killing of an innocent on my conscience.
Let's wrap this day up pls this is useless and witch hunting is not far off. Hopefully we will have good leads tomorrow.

The shinobi, wary of one another, decide that Nisshomaru has been acting strangely. They jump to conclusions, and capture and torture him. However, he says nothing. Unfortunately, he died near the end. It seems as though Nisshomaru was telling the truth, and that he is a Shinobi.

The assassins make a second blind decision on who to kill, and in doing so manage to kill off the second major good-guy role, the ANBU. Raidnn was the ANBU, dead but not forgotten. Idk how this is happening but you guys are basically screwed.
Also taigakun cut himself on a rusty nail and died painfully an hour later. He was a shinobi.

Eathere we kill kakashi now and we all die or we let them pic us off one by one. And we hope to guess who they are. I don't like are odds of the latter. We are 100% in control now. Kakashi won't even argue he will win if we do this.

ok guys... i 120% garentee you that adithya is an assassin, so why would i change my vote. you don't know the full story. i recieved my role today because jcyer forgot to send me kings_head role, why would he forget if i was someone important to the game. secondly, ninjamirage is now acting spicious tryna redirect all the votes he gathered against kakashi to me, but i still semi trust that he isnt an assassin because he spoke to the anbu but he could be lying. it might be that hes tryna take me off cuz i now who it is

You can only be 100% sure adithya is an assassin is if you are one. But I believe you that he is also. So killing you will verify that adithya is an assassin. I have my reasons for suspecting abemelbs as well by I don't clam to know 100% that any one is an assassin. The anbu is died and I was the only one the anbu investigated besides the joker(kakashi) who has as much admitted to his role.

This has gone too far and is way more confusing and chaotic than I had anticipated it to be. @NinjaMirage and @HermitTheSage talk too much trying to deviate everybody from targeting a single guy. As much as I want to believe that @adithya is an assassin and finish him off that way at least killing 1 of them...I just can not do it because the reason Hermit provides are too vague for anyone to believe, "I'm 120% sure Adithya is an assassin and later I'm 101% sure Adithya is an assassin" buddy it doesn't work like that especially when it involves public opinion which is the whole thing this game is based on. You have got to provide some kind of substantial evidence or a reason or something of the sort for us to believe you (me at least). And from the current looks of this, it's a bit easier to tell who is not an assassin instead of who is. And according to me, people who check out for some or the other reasons call it any random reason for all I care are @takami , @CaioDarT , @Jale and, @IbukaiUchiha. And right now I'm at such a stage that I'm probably ready to sacrifice another 1 or 2 Shinobis which maybe me or anyone for that matter but only and only if that cements our win. And frankly, I couldn't care less for the joker right now as I just want to win this game. Also I feel to vote in this order 1st HermitTheSage 2nd Adithya and 3rd NinjaMirage as this way we can confirm multiple things. Like Adithya being as assassin and Hermit being correct about him because if he is not then we know for sure that one of them is....
And I know after reading this many of you are going to turn on me instead because that's normal human behaviour and there is no way to prove that I am not an assassin but that's fine as that was a risk I was willing to take when I decided to post this and like Ibukai said earlier I am not going down without a fight!!! so bring it on Assassins or whoever!!! XD XD XD

yea i messed up this time, my calculations failed, as a result ill keep to my word, and kill myself via Seppuku.
i knew takumi and ibukai couldnt be both assassins when they started voting for each other, but i don't like changing final decisions, especially after everyone followed the decision
i didnt swallow my pride and i was selfish to lead you guys in the wrong direction.
orginaly was gonna vote for ibukai, albmelbs was just being too blunt, jale seems inocent doesnt log in most of the time, but
this was the logic behind takumi's death, I presumed that there must be atleast one assassin which is a donator rank (Takumi/caiodart)
ovbiously the assassins are likely to be logged in during the same time to discuss who to kill, before we killed adithya, him and the assassin had to vote who to kill that round ("NinjaMirage") because they decided before the night phase. so i checked the log in list and adithya and takumi they logged off 3 minutes apart from each other.
Furthermore, i knew caiodart couldnt be an assassin because the way he votes, they are always clear cut, he doesnt need an explanation or an excuse just votes like bam not worried about shit unlike assassins.
I also said ibukai, because when i came into the game, i thought people were daft not to vote for me, i was acting suspiciously but more suprisingly everyone voted for the joker, but he didnt.
