Shinobi Life Online Clans / Re: ツル Tsuri Clan
« on: May 19, 2017, 15:27:21 »

Well, that would suck, bc I don't think that the Forest would want a rogue shinobi, considering how many of us are probably in Roguhanta, and there are no trees against the Hidden Forest. We are the village literally hidden by a BUNCH OF FUCKING TREES! We are the tree gods. ok, maybe I just got a little carried away, but that doesn't matter.
I guess he means they stay in the forest... which is like the whole area of which our village is a part.
But yeah... having a rogue clan nearby may spell trouble unless we all coexist peacefully :)
Exactly!

@Snoopy... you have outdone every single post made on this website.

Yes @Snoopy has, I can agree very much. XD This was a great guide. Do as many sequels as you can think of. XD

A. Everyone'll be on their own when the game *first* launches in Alpha/Beta/Launch. Those players will master their respective Jutsu before new Jutsu are created, and will thus be the First Generation of the shinobi...for lore purposes, you might even pretend that they're the Shinobi who broke free of their previous masters. I imagine that they'll be partners or solo-operators rather than squad-mates, learning as they go without the assistance of any sort of Mentor (there are many MMORPG players that do this in *every* game they play, attempting to gain the best understanding of how the systems work before passing on this knowledge to other players, either in-game or through videos/forums).

As the game continues to develop and further additions update the world, the Second Generation will arrive. These shinobi will now have a Mentor that may guide their training...however, they won't be *strictly obligate to teach only what THEY know*. The role of a Mentor is to guide the progression of those underneath them, more or less like a councilor rather than a private tutor. The Second Generation shinobi will either go Solo(learning what they can from the Library and personal training...much like Sasuke), Train Under A Mentor(learning their own style from the Library, with its implementation --especially as apart of a squad-- being guided by the Mentor...much like Neji) or Learn From A Mentor(learning --and possibly improving upon-- the style of their Mentor directly from them...much like Rock Lee).

B. Speaking of the Library, I believe that'll end up being a key component of any Shinobi Village. Libraries store not only Tiered Jutsu Scrolls, but also fragments of the world's knowledge...perhaps even differing one Scroll's recounts of an event in one Village from the recounts of that same event from another Village's perspective/propaganda.

Players who don't want to fulfill the role of a Shinobi never had to in the first place, so I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at there; In fact, I bet they'll be a few Shinobi who 'retire', or flunk their exams before deciding to do something easier, if more mundane XD).
I very much agree on this, I like how you bring up the First and Second Generation shinobi thing, good catch on how things are gonna work. It makes sense.

General Discussion / Kashyo's Realization
« on: May 17, 2017, 15:16:55 »
Kahsyo walked around in the forest just outside the village. He's been around in this area since he was young, and started to talk to people back when he was depressed, starting when he was 14. *Of course*, he thought, *I was just an edgy teen. No wonder I was always so depressed.* He realized though, that in the three years since his depression began, people had gained his trust again. Many people he had met from all over the shinobi lands had taught him a valuable lesson: Just because there are many evil, heartless, untrustworthy people in the world, didn't mean everyone was. Much of this realization came from the people from his home, Morigakure, his old home, Hokorigakure, where he had fled to after he was nearly killed by his mother, though he came back to Morigakure when he was 10, and the fellow members of the organizations he was a part of. Those people were his real family. *I'd give my life for them*, he thought, and there wan't a single hint of doubt in his mind about it. All the people he had met taught him to trust people again. Because of that, he had stabilized. Now 17, he realized he could help the world better with a clear mind, not one still depressed. He loved the Morigakure, and because of that, he was going to become the Morikage and lead his village to peace, then he was going to eradicate evil. No crime would exist anymore. As long as he could become the strongest shinobi in all the land, he could end war, end fighting, and above all, end sadness. That was his plan, and he was going to make it happen, no matter what, all the while with love in his heart for the world.

Shinobi Life Online Organizations / Re: Blackbox
« on: May 17, 2017, 14:46:18 »
Forum username: animeoveraddict
Known aliases (nicknames): Kashyo, The Maker of the Greatest Ramen in the Morigakure
Age: 16 years, 3 months, 20 days, 2 hours
Location (country): The United Sates of America
Why do you want to be recruited in Blackbox?: Well, after looking through the thread, I noticed that this is an organization that requires a lot of intelligence, which I have. Of all things, being really smart is what I have going for me, so I wanted to be able to use my intellect in the game over using my skills. Seeing strategist made me realize I may be able to do just that, plan things out really quickly and then swiftly defeat our enemies as a team.
What will you bring to the organisation?: I will bring one of the best strategic minds, if not THE best strategic mind, in the forum. I am a chess player by heart(Been playing since I was 6.), so my strategy skills are extremely good(Sorry if I'm bragging, I can get carried away.). That's about all.

General Discussion / Re: #SLO Interviews - First edition
« on: May 09, 2017, 14:57:19 »
I agree tho with the anonymous interviewee, it seems like they probably WOULD have more if even only 15 mins a day was spent working on the game. Fifteen minutes a day for two years, one of which being a leap year, that's 731 days. That's 10,965 minutes of time spent on the game, which SHOULD be enough time to get a little more done than we have already, and if ALL the devs did that, then it would be 10,965 minutes per dev, which means we could have had a LOT more finished. Just saying.
Tutor me maths pls
XD

Now, he is currently attempting to become the Kage of the Hidden Forest.

Omg go back to dust! I hate competition!
lel jk... welcome to Morigakure m8... join our discord, although I'd like an emotionally and mentally stable Kage :3

Good to know someone else is my competition for Morikage.

AHAHAAHAH.

Cute.

I'll allow both of you to be my Elders though.
