The founder of the Kinshēdo clan, Fukurō Kinshēdo and his wife Tsuki Kinshēdo, were born in Hidden Dust. They had a son named Hisoka Kinshēdo. Hisoka Kinshēdo married to a woman named, Kimiko Kinshēdo. Kinshēdo clan lived in a village surrounded with a lot of exotic herbs in the outskirt of Hidden Dust, near the borderline with Hidden Ash.

During the Great War, Kinshēdo getting bigger and well known for their prowess in genjutsu and herbs business. In no time, Kinshēdo reached its glory.
Couple months later, Hisoka Kinshēdo had a son. His wife gave birth to a son named Looki Kinshēdo. 2 years after Looki was born, conflict unfolded between Kinshēdo and 3 rival clans from Hidden Ash. They wanted to take over the Kinshēdo's village and their herbs business.

Few days later, 3 rival clans from Hidden Ash attacked Kinshēdo's village at midnight when most of the clan members were sleeping. Most of the clan members were killed that night. Hisoka, Kimiko and other Kinshēdo member tried to hold the attack to buy some time for other clan members to escape. At that time, Fukurō was looking for herbs outside the village for his wife. When he saw a fire from his village, he went back and immediately looking for his wife. Unfortunately, by the time he arrived, his wife has been killed. He was about to go out and help but suddenly he heard a baby crying. He ran to the room where Looki at. He held Looki and looked outside, the situation was getting worse. He wanted to help but couldn't risk his grandson. He had no choice but to ran away to save his grandson. He looked back and hope that his son and some of his clan members manage to survive. On the way, the first place that crossed his mind was Hidden Volcano.

After holding the attack for some time. Hisoka, Kimiko and other clan members were outnumbered and forced to ran to Hidden Shockwave. Unfortunately, before they got to Hidden Shockwave. They were surrounded near the coast by rival clans. They tried to fight and survive. But, outnumbered, eventually Hisoka and Kimiko with other clan members in the frontline were killed. After the tragedy, Kinshēdo clan members scattered in a small group around Hidden Shockwave and Hidden Dust.

Couple days after that night, Fukurō who arrived in Hidden Volcano with his grandson, began to search for his clan member around Hidden Volcano but found nobody.

As time passed, Looki grew older. Fukurō started to spend more time with his grandson and taught him some valuable knowledge and skills. By the time Looki became a jonin, Fukurō was getting weaker and older. Not long, Fukurō passed away. Before his death, he showed his grandson The Book of Kinshēdo Clan. In hope that Looki could lead and restore the clan back to its glory.

After the death of Fukurō. Looki inherited the leadership of Kinshēdo clan. First thing he did was, he went to Hidden Shockwave to find the grave of his parents. Then, he decided to travel from one village to another village to find Kinshēdo clan member who survived the tragedy. News spread and gradually more and more Kinshēdo clan members arrived in Hidden Dust and Hidden Volcano. After that, they began to hunt the 3 clans from Hidden Ash and as time passed by, those 3 clans were killed and no longer existed. And finally, together with their new leader, they start to restore Kinshēdo clan not only to its former glory but to a level that surpassed its former glory.
