I think this looks better in my opinion, or maybe we could have an option to add the outline on.

The black outline of the character gives the game a more cartoony look, like the Borderlands series.
Honestly it doesn't really bother me what graphics style we have, but I'd prefer if we remain without a black outlining. It would be even better if we have the option to toggle it on or off to experience both styles ourselves, like you've stated.

I agree, the black inking does make it look a bit cartoony and I don't think it would fit into the current graphic style that the team is going for.

Please no outlines. I love the path the game's graphics are taking rn

I would be cool with it. note the fact he said the option I would think it would be great to be able to decide these types of graphic things by yourself. So even though I prefer without the outline, some people might so I think he's the option to change would be cool

Having outlines only looks good if the surroundings look cartoony aswell. If there would be an option to enable outlines it would look really bad, unless that option would make the surroundings cartoony aswell which means that every texture in the game would have a cartoon version (And I guess the shaders get changed aswell).
That's a lot of effort for a game that isn't even finished, so I don't think outlines are going to be in the game.

I personally like the current graphics style the team is going for,
however, different styles could be something to work on after the game is finished.
