Shinobi Life Online Questions / Re: Death itself....
« on: February 23, 2016, 05:09:19 »
More like you can't die in a non-death zone, you can only go as far as being defeated/unconscious. Death zones (previously known as perma-death zones) are zones where you can get killed off after getting defeated.

Death zones are currently planned to be the wide borders between lands. So crossing over to another land in order to visit its Hidden Village or any other of its villages has the risk of being ambushed and actually dying permanently. Hence this should be done in a safe manner by either travelling in group or by trying to be unnoticed by travelling through trees.

Death in SLO means the definition of the word: "Death is the termination of all biological functions that sustain a living organism." Respawning does not fit in that. Luckily the majority of SLO's world will be non-death zoned, courtesy of the Hidden Village protection provided to the lands they are located in.

So does the character get completely erased? or What? *heavy breathing*
Yes it will be completely erased.
It will not exist anymore in the SLO world, Meaning that there is no way to get revived.
Only option would be to make a new character.

Imo this is pretty extreme.
Because respawn in any way is not possible.
It's great and unique but in some way bad for the game.
SLO will most likely be for the hardcore players only.

Once you die you'll be sure to ragequit the game and never come back, Because all that hard work is gone.

I (for now) dont look at SLO as a grinding game. More like a game which you're good/bad at..  all that you will loose its your name's "fame" and some weapons.

Games / Re: I now control the hill
« on: February 23, 2016, 05:00:03 »
I use the powers of the US military to bomb the hill, ending the lives of all people, animals, plants, etc. within a 100 yard radius. I then ride up to the top of the hill on my ATV and set up a flag and grind on the flag. Then many young female ladies stroll up to my hill where I take them on the train to pound town :P

I now have the hill

One of your ladies work for me and poisoned you during the process. You are now dead and I now have the hill

Shinobi Life Online Discussion / Re: Mercenary Group
« on: February 19, 2016, 13:49:34 »
You can work for a work org without being in it. To collaborate with them(by being on of them) behind your village's back. BUT If someone can proof that, you might be expelled from your village becoming a real rogue ninja.

But I recommend you to learn how to play the game very well before going rogue. In games the decision to be a "criminal" is usually after you can support yourself out there. In most of games it is almost impossible to level up and "do stuff" if you're already in that position since the beginning...
@dati truly one of the most active devs I have ever seen. PREACH

Thanks man, just trying to be a part of it :)

You should listen to his fucking posts. He has double your age irl (most probably) and he's the opposite of you, in a positive way: You got hated by the community in the first 3 days, he got appreciated by the community in his first 3 days. You don't have to like him but either you want it or not you have to look up when looking at him.

End of this ridiculous discussion. If he keeps posting like this is going to loose his right to do it. For all the other personal matters, save it for PM's and ingame business. This forum is already a mess. There is discussions about the same subject in most of the posts!

It is amazing how far this game it is by being independent and by having such a little volunteer crew.

I'm new so I don't deserve to be congratulated yet but for the rest of all  Administrator, Global Moderators, and Developers, my congratz!

Clan name: Hottokazan

Clan logo:

Founder: Tsuyoi Hottokazan

Leader:  Tsuyoi Hottokazan (The legend say that he is the Lava of the Volcano, still alive as their God. The shinobi behind his orders is known as Dati Hottokzan

Affiliation:  Kazangakure (Hidden Volcano)

Clan history:
After an enormous war, an organization survived with only few members. Tsuyoi Hottokazan was a powerful shinobi that was capable to infuse fire and earth chakra to create lava. He then with his powers created a enormous volcano where him and his organization could escape and hide. This organization transformed in to a family and latter on a real clan.
Tsuyoi Hottokazan founded the HottoKazan Clan and they say that before he died he transformed his body in lava and become the volcano's heart. Stories say that he is still alive and is still the clan leader and their God.
Like most shinobi from Kazangakure they have Fire and Earth nature. Shinobi that are well trained can like Tsuyoi Hottokazan use/control/create lava.
Members of this clan are extremely rare since this clan likes to hide in their volcano which is hard for others to find.

Unique traits: Members of this clan have usualy black or red hair they have enormous resistance against heat, and have great fisical power.

Strengths:  This clan is well known by its ninjutsu, but also part of their culture, taijutsu is strongly practiced by this clan.

Lava Release (熔遁; 溶遁, Yōton, Viz: Corrosion Style" or "Lava Style) is a combined nature
transformation kekkei genkai made up of techniques that mix fire and earth-based chakra to
create volcanic materials such as lava or rubber in different properties and usages.

Weaknesses:  "Hot headed" they tend to be weak against Genjutsu.

Rival clans:  Isolation was the unique solution for this clan. Although they are the founders of Hidden Volcano, many other clans came looking for a place to hide. For being isolated they dont have rivals yet.

Allied clans:  For being isolated they dont have Allied clans yet.

Rankings: All in service of Tsuyoi Hottokazan, our God.

Members:

The only shinobi know to be part of the Hottokazan Clan is:

*Dati Hottokazan

All others are still a mistery.

Rules:  Respect Tsuyoi Hottokazan. Talking thru Dati Hottokazan he is the absolute truth behind the volcano's wishes.  Like an Immortal Sage he knows the best for the Clan

Please add a filter for names related to naruto...

add rasengan

We talked about it. i even 2d sketched an idea of how could it work

but the thing is that the rasengan is a jutsu of no nature. So right now it wont be a good decision since this types of jutsu are special types and that will make it confusing..

14
I don't think the reputation should be represented by an automatic system.
Some village kages (that will be players) will act differently. One may have some harsh decisions making other players see him as a bad person therefore a bad village. The same goes the other way, about good reputation.

Players will make everything work by itself.

/\ perfect

@Aderan you don't have to look at the situation this way. I think we all like to see people interested in making this a better game by giving suggestions. We all had a suggestion that was not agreed by the community at a certain point. Don't let this restrain you.

Kono, you are so lovely. <3

maybe depending on how good you are with that specific type of jutsu, it can transform from only clothing, to the whole thing(in a certain amount of time).

because it is a shinobi technique(which is able to be braked down).
