village completely destroyed
« on: April 06, 2016, 17:20:27 »
Can a village be completely destroyed by the other village and that village can take over the place?
For example:

The Nike village attacks the Adidas village and kills all the NPC's ,the kage and most of the shinobi's hidden in the Adidas. The Nike village has now two villages to protect. The new people that created their characters can now choose 10 villages instead of 11 because the Adidas village doesn't exist. The survivors of the Adidas village can retake the village by destroying all enemies in the Nike village.

sorry if i didn't explain it properly

Seems likely, as organizations can do this. Villages should be able, too. Although the battle to take the village won't be easy at all

We discussed rogue ninja and their affiliations having the ability to overthrow a Kage and capture a village. This ability is extended to everyone, and will be a potential outcome if there ever is a war between nations.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you won't be able to completely destroy a village to the point of not having it as an option to start in.

Having control over a village by ruling it with a puppet government is as far as you'll be able to go.

But who will the village officially belong to? Continuing with the example that Chakra set, will the taken over Adidas village belong to Nike? Or Adidas? Surely when a new player starts they should be aware that by choosing to start in Adidas, they are technically under the control of Nike? Or will Adidas still stand solitarily? (it's a word, I googled it)

accomplishing a coup and maintaining the power over a village are 2 very different things. it will be extremely hard to take over a village. even harder to hold power over it for any length of time as you will be week and likely very low on health after you take down a kaga ranked player. because of this i dont see the appeal other then bragging rights to say you did it.its a lot of work and will be impossible to maintain, unless you have the support of your entire rogue organization or village. and even then anyone you beet will just try and take it back from you again because they will be revived in the hospital.  village npc if any will not be combat units...no point in killing them.

also where will the aggressing forces be revived it seems strange for them to be revived in the village there trying to conquer...but its a safe zone so they cant be perma dead.

Unless other villages are kill zones if you are not part of that village??

and if that's the case that's just another reason i dont care about conquering other nations.

so lets recap
you could die if you try(maybe)
if you succeed in getting past the first wave you have 2 more battle before you succeed with no rest.
if you manage to do all that you'll have little to no chakra or stamina left and will likely be low on health but you did it
the village is yours... now if you didn't make sure a medical ninja survived with you... a fart from a gennin will kill you and if you like the leaf village they are at full strength because they were hidden away.
so ya have fun with that i'm out.

@Manuster the only help the new regime will have is from new players entering under its rule.
the conquering nation would also need to stay in power long enough to gather new players and convince them not to join the resistance.. more work.. trying to conquer a village is just a bad idea in my opinion.

Conquering a village is idealistic and will be one of those things that's nearly impossible.

To answer @Manuster, a village doesn't belong to a single entity.

Conquered villages will be able to make certain alliances that they would otherwise not make, and this could be a queue to new players of what is really going on.

[/quote] I like the puppet government idea, you could have the villagers turn on the kage and players who dont support you kind of like propaganda in politics. As for the resurrect in hospital, wasnt this supposed to be a survival game?
