Title: What do you want to specialize in? (Nature transformations, taijutsu, etc)
Post by: Ryotenbin on August 14, 2014, 04:09:33
If I missed anything, be sure to let me know so I can add it. I personally want to specialize in Medical Ninjutsu with some Taijutsu and Shurikenjutsu as secondary techniques.

Well, I'll improve my ninjutsu attacks, however, depending on how good will the "taijutsu system" be, I maybe take tai.

Probably Genjutsu, it is my style of play. I will be working on my chakra nature techniques after that, water and lightning. Gotta live up to my name as Keeper of Storms. :p

If I had a kekkei genkai, I would probably specialize in that. Using kenjutsu, or ninjutsu, depending on the KG.
Else, it would be senjutsu and ninjutsu, i think. Just playing to figure it out

water style and kenjutsu FTW!

Sounds nice!

I'm a bit late to reply to this poll, but really I'm not sure, and I'm assuming a lot of other people aren't as well. We haven't had a chance to see the mechanics yet, but I'm going to try and specialize into taijutsu

Forbidden Jutsu is the best, that's why he is forbidden.
Title: Re: What do you want to specialize in? (Nature transformations, taijutsu, etc)
Post by: CaptainSpoon on September 27, 2014, 13:59:10
no its not, its forbidden because it has an inhuman effect. just like the forbidden jutsu cursed seal mark, u basically mutate a human being. thats forbidden, and thats the reason its called a forbidden jutsu.

1) Techniques that cause harm to the user themselves, such as opening the Eight Gates, which the mere use of is both highly useful as well as detrimental to the user.

2) Techniques that violate the laws of nature (e.g. the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation, which reincarnates the dead with a human sacrifice).

3) Certain techniques that are known to cause massive collateral damage, such as the total destruction of a village and end with the death of everyone in it, thus the great moral ramifications of its potential lead many to labelling it as a forbidden technique (e.g. the Fury technique, which appeared only in the anime).

These are the category's that most Kinjutsus are placed under, as well as why most Kinjutsus are forbidden.

I plan to specialize in medicine as much as I can. Failing that (and letting my teammates die) it's time to run. And if that doesn't work it wouldn't hurt to know some kenjutsu or taijutsu.

^ not true M4.

  • Name: Okagakure
  • English: The Village Hidden by Hills (short: Hidden Hill)
  • Chakra Natures: All of them.
  • Combined Chakra Nature: None. Shinobi of Okagakure can unlock a third nature instead, if they inherit their village's legacy.

That requires very specific circumstances aka luck. Counting on getting Oka's 3rd nature is just like counting on getting a mixed chakra nature, which is a highly unrealistic bet. 1 player out of 500. I was talking about the average player. ; )

PS: All legendary shinobi will have a 3rd nature, not just Oka's. The difference is that Oka's is a normal nature, whereas the others are mixes of 2 normal nature which result in something new.

i guess this would be a ninjutsu, but i would like it if they implemented a strong chakra force like the hidden star village's. Where you could choose an animal and use that to make a chakra beast. This could also be another type of jutsu, maybe call it Chi? Just so we aren't sued.lol

Genjutsu all the way!
But only if it can seriously injure enemies (i.e. something in the line of tsukuyomi).
If Genjutsu can only trap / be a supportive role I won't go down that path.

By the way, I really want Kawarimi no Jutsu! Its my favorite :)

Genjutsu will be only for traps. However there will be some very advanced genjutsu techniques that will cause damage, if you are lucky maybe you can learn one of them.
From what I know the substitution jutsu, transformation jutsu and clone jutsu won't be in game.

No Genjutsu techniques will cause damage. And i don't know about substitution and clone jutsu but transformation jutsu ,may be in the game.

Genjutsu is technically a supportive skill. The caster will only uses a physical attacks while the victim is under genjutsu. As with tsukuyomi, it causes no physical damage, but mental detriment.
