Byakugan Jutsu

I'm not saying you should make the exact same as the byakugan but the byakugan would be very useful you could make it something like a x-ray so you see threw trees and rocks and you will be able to the player although u would not have to make the byakugan jutsu not very easy to get you would have to be a certain rank and only few people would be able to use it

or there could be a specific clan for the Byakugan

The Byakugan is a popular KG in Naruto, which means there will most likely be a similar jutsu to it in the game. Unless Vreg decides to be original with all the jutsu.

Also you already have a kind of short range byakugan because the camera isnt first person

In the game there are suppose to be items hidden in the ground, and you would have other shinobi (friends and foes) all round you; maybe the byakugan equivalent when used will allow you to see all other items and shinobi in your overhead map and who they are. Also when in use, it lets the user know how much chakra anyone else has when clicking on the target. But using the jutsu still eats up your chakra.

sensory type effects should only effect the min map and name locators in view.  and diffrences should come with a buff to deffence from diffrent attacks.... byakugan=chakra bassed attacks smell-physical= attacks
hearing= sneek attacks and so on

As shinobi, your buffs come from understanding the enemy's attack with your special abilities and actually using what you know to defeat them, though stats might have a place somewhere like armor
and hp! I dont remember what is planned
