Here's some context.
I am an art student and I enjoy doing my little anime sketches more than the crap we do at school (most of the time I don't pay attention).
I'll be posting my artwork on here and see how everything goes. I might have to make new threads for more artwork, depending on user traffic and feedback.

As you can tell, this is Kimimaro in the early phases of my drawing. I posted this image on Snapchat, and later on once finished, I began colouring the image in... and oh boy did it look cancerous. It was disgusting. I won't be showing you the coloured in and finished version because it looks like utter shit.
Enjoy this unfinished Kimimaro.
Bad quality? Yes, because I screenshot it from my SC and had to send it on Skype so I can download it and upload here.

I'm sure you can see this, but the nose needs some work, needs to be more "anime"

if you're stuck on a nose or a mouth, I'd suggest googling nose and mouth styles in anime etc. and taking inspiration from that.
I think the hair to the left of his head should be bending downwards cause he's bending his head to the right, and the hair to the left of his head is sticking out

other than that, it's great :), the eyes could be more detailed, but it's not necessary.

Haha yeah I know the nose fucked up and I just couldn't be bothered to do anything about that.
Also, when I started drawing him, I did him slightly smaller than I should have so I didn't really have that opportunity to make his face and hair that detailed.
But yeah I know where you're coming from and these are just rookie mistakes -- but thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it, and I'll continue to improve with further drawings.

I didn't have the correct colour for his skin and the closest one there was light brownish, so I pretty much turned him black. Moreover, I didn't have the exact colours for his clothes, so they look blue now.
I turned Kimimaro into a clown.

It really is a shame. When I start working later on this year I should be able to afford a drawing tablet where I can finally start doing some digital art. Obviously at the start I'll make terrible work due to the lack of experience in using a tablet format for my drawings, but I'm sure eventually I'll get the hang of it.
