I had the most stressful and terrible day of my life earlier this week. It may sound sappy, but thanks to the members of this community and their willingness to just chat about random stuff, that day was much better. Description of the character's personality: Tamensei was a loving and happy child, but as he grew older, he became vengeful, calculating, and entirely apathetic to the concerns of others. His heart is as cold as the village that betrayed him. What little emotion he shows goes toward his unquenchable desire for death and destruction. He despises the hidden villages and the kage who run them. Despite his apathy, he is an unwavering comrade to those he finds worthy of working with. He is obsessed with tangible means of power such as physical strength, weapons, money, and treasure. Because of his brutish and violent past, he is considered an abomination. In short, Tamensei is a selfish monster of a man.

Description of the character's history: Tamensei was raised in the Hidden Snow Village, where his exorbitantly caring parents raised him as a ninja. He was as close to his parents as any child could be. Though the land was cold as were most of the people, the warmth of his parents' hearts warmed him so he was never truly cold. Tamensei took every ninja lesson in stride and spent as much time with his family as he possibly could. Every day, the loving parents and child would hold hands and walk to a training ground by a river where they would spend hours training their water release ninjutsu and being jubilant. Tamensei was often sent on missions by the Kage to spy on the kage of other villages because of his skill. When Tamensei was sixteen years of age, he was sent to the Hidden Hill Village to collect data on the village's troop movements. When his mission was complete, he began his long journey back to his home. He returned to his village on an unusually freezing and still night. Normally, his parents awaited him on their porch, but they were not there that night. He scrambled through his home howling for his parents, but to his utter dismay and horror, they were gone. In a matter of seconds, Tamensei was left all alone in the world. He continued to train in memory of his parents, though the other teenagers of the village ridiculed and laughed at him for his situation. Every day, poor Tamensei would go to the site where his parents used to train him, and he practiced his jutsu endlessly. The domineering from the children never stopped though. They laughed every time he failed. They mocked him for being alone. They hated him purely because he was different. Exactly one year after the disappearance of his parents, Tamensei had reached his breaking point. With pure hatred and anguish fueling his water-style ninjutsu, he dragged the oppressors into the river, which ran red with their blood. He brazenly strode into the Kage's building where village records were kept. The Kage allowed it however, as he did not know of the events that had recently transpired at the training grounds. He believed that Tamensei had a right to know at this point what had happened to his parents that tragic night, though the Kage felt no regret. Tamensei went into the record room and grabbed a scroll with his family's name inscribed on it. He shook violently as he opened it and began to read. He learned that his parents were taken by higher-ups from the village for experimentation because of their affinity for extremely potent water-style ninjustu. They were vivisected and killed so that the village could learn their bodies' secrets. Tamensei continued to shake as he was surrounded by Yukigakure ANBU. They told him that they knew about what had just transpired and that they had to take him down. With nothing more than his bare hands, Tamensei killed the ANBU. Drenched in their blood and with his own blood boiling, he approached the Yukigakure Kage who verbally disparaged Tamensei's family. Tamensei struck at the kage and the two dueled for an entire day only for the Kage to eventually best Kumogatarui. The Kage allowed him to live only under the conditions that he never return to the village or speak of what the village had done to his parents. After destroying what remained of his past, to include the records and his home, Tamensei left the village with nothing more than his clothes and the secrets his mind and body concealed. Tamensei wants to learn as many nature transformations as possible to help make his goals a reality. Nowadays, he wanders the land while collecting as much material wealth as he can to fill the gap left by his family as well as plotting on how to destroy the Yukigakure Kage and the village that ruined his once-happy life.  Not only this, but he hopes to destroy all of the kage and their villages. This goal has led to his joining of Katakiuchi, the organization which has his undying loyalty, and also studying kinjutsu techniques to further his power. He believes this will bring an end to all that has led his life to the sorry state that it now resides.

Does creating a character in the Shinobi Life Online Character board reserve that character name for whoever posted it, or would it be first come-first served for names when the game is released?

If I missed anything, be sure to let me know so I can add it. I personally want to specialize in Medical Ninjutsu with some Taijutsu and Shurikenjutsu as secondary techniques.

Hey guys, I don't know if this has been done before, but I thought it would be fun to ask you all what jutsu you would want in real life. There is a catch though, you can only pick one. I would personally pick Substitution Jutsu: simple yet effective.
