Hey guys! I mentioned on my character bio/profile earlier that I would be writing a story for my character. The story is about my character and a few of his teammates. It takes place in the Hidden Hill, two years after the death of my character's close friend, Jin. The story focuses on my character's development and will include a few other OC's of mine. If you wish for you character to be incorporated, you can message me with a request. Please only send requests if you from the Hidden Hill or have a legitimate reason for being there for now. I hope that the story expands outward some and my OC visits some other places. The focus character will change from time to time. If they have large amounts of text, I will do a character change via a name in () at the beginning of a new paragraph. Please only give constructive criticism. I appreciate all help and tips! Hair: Medium in length and spiky. His hair is white, like the rest of his clan. He has no facial hair.

Eyes: Raito's eyes are a vibrant vermilion with a fox-like slit for the pupil

Clothing: Raito usually wears black clothing with small portions of red. He enjoys black due to the contrast it has with his hair and skin color. He enjoys the red because ti matches his eye color.





Personality - 性格


Tsukegami Raito is independent and very confident in himself and his abilities. This causes Raito to come off as arrogant. Despite that, Raito is a very perceptive and intuitive shinobi. It does not take long for Raito to evaluate the situation and formulate strategies for said situation. Raito is known to be excellent in chakra control. This coupled with has vast amount of chakra makes him a dangerous oppenent. Shrewd and strategic, Raito was a natural in the art of war.

Despite Raito's intellectual prowess, he does not let this get the better of him or feel superior to his fellow shinobi. Raito has been described by many of his peers as "down to earth" and "relaxed". While Raito is respected by many, he has few attachments.

Raito is usually very serious and follows the rules of his clan and village closely due in part to the death of his closest friend. He dislikes rule-breakers but doesn't go as far as hating them. He does, however, refuse to work with anyone who would break the rules. Raito no longer understands the concept of "friendship" and openly avoids maintaining anything more than a work relationship, with the exception of Rin. Raito is a lone wolf at heart but is not against using teamwork when it benefits the mission.

It is hinted at that Raito has developed some sort of PTSD from his friend's death, although he would never admit to it.

Raito shows remarkable skill in Ninjutsu, kenjutsu, and fuinjutsu techniques. He lacks the ability to use genjutsu, like most in his clan. While not specializing in taijutsu, he is not a pushover and is able to hold his own in the field.

Raito prefers to use lightning style techniques and his favorite weapon, the katana.


Bio - 伝記


Tsukegami Raito was born to Tsukegami Takashi and Tsukegami Mito on October 10th. Raito was given his name because of the bright and full moon that shined on the night of his birth, thus he uses the kanji tsuki (月) for his name. He was the second child of four. He had one older brother, Yūta (勇太), and two younger sisters, Akane (あかね) and Yukino (雪乃). Yūta was a year and five months older than Raito. Yukino is four years younger than Raito. Akane, the youngest, was ten years younger than Raito.

Raito was considered a prodigy at a very early age, much to his brother's dismay. While Yūta struggled learning ninjutsu, Raito excelled. By the time he was 4, he could use various shuriken techniques and even write his name in shuriken. At age 7 Raito had already discovered his affinity for the Lightning Release. While Yūta did not excel at ninjutsu like his brother, he did excel at taijutsu. This became the only specialization he had over Raito and became his strong point in their sibling rivalry. The two would often spar and have mock battles. They began to keep score. Raito would win with ninjutsu and his brother with his taijutsu.

Raito was especially close with his sister, Yukino, and when he wasn't training or at the academy, he spent most of his time with her. Both Yukino and Raito preferred to read in silence together and occasionally go on adventures in the village together. They would maintain a close relationship throughout their lives.

Despite a ten year difference between them, Raito and Akane were close as well. Raito took care of the young Akane when their mother was sick and usually allowed he to tag along with him when he ventured into the market. Her favorite thing were masks, so they would usually end up buying a new one every time they went to the market.

For most of his life, Raito enjoyed relative peace and stability. After graduating the academy at a young age and becoming a genin, he went on many missions where he would make friends with his two fellow squad mates, Kurosaki Rin (黒崎凛) and Matsuzaki Jin (松崎チン). Jin would become his closest friend, besides Yūta. Rin would become his lifelong love interest and the love interest of his best friend and brother.

Jin was Raito's polar opposite. Where Raito was quiet and calm, Jin was loud and always excitable. During missions, Jin would refuse to listen to their squad leader and would jump from behind cover, engaging enemies before the rest were ready to engage, all the while screaming "Real ninjas don't hide, they act!"

Jin was not a punctual person either, to Raito's dismay. He would arrive late and give a brief explanation, something Raito usually didn't believe. Despite this, the two were the greatest friends. Jin considered Raito his rival but the feeling wasn't mutual. While Raito was a prodigy, Jin was mediocre in most aspects of the shinobi life and had to work hard. Jin would challenge Raito to many different sorts of competitions, usually those involving ninjutsu, and would lose. This only served to push him to train harder.

Jin developed feelings for Rin when they first met for introductions. She would serve to be his motivation for bettering himself. She was also the reason he challenged Raito to matches.

Rin was a bright and cheerful girl. She specialized in medical ninjutsu and earth and water releases. She was considered the defensive player of the team and spent most of her time covering for Raito and Jin. She also spent a lot of time healing Jin due to his reckless behavior on missions and training. She develops feelings for Raito, unbeknownst to him. 

Raito, then thirteen, and his squad-mates were assigned a mission. It was their first B rank missions, something normally assigned to Chūnin. They were assigned this mission due to lack of personnel in the village at the time. Their mission was to investigate the disappearance of several Chūnin and Jōnin level ninja from their village. They were to go to where the village had lost contact with the teams.

Raito's team, Team Hakumo, would head to the area and meet no resistance along the way. Just before arriving at the scene of the disappearances, their sensei would sense the presence of other shinobi. Team Hakumo would mask their chakra and hide in the trees nearby, where they would observe. As they were observing, Hakumo sensei noticed that they were a Jōnin and Chūnin from another village, standing over a mound of corpses. The corpses would in a few moment's time, be identified as many Hidden Hill ninja. They were the ninja who had gone missing. Before he could warn the others and tell them to retreat, Jin jumped out of the bushes and attacked. Raito, having realized that they were high level shinobi, screamed for Jin to fall back. When this didn't work, Team Hakumo jumped into action. Hakumo sensei engaged the other Jōnin while Jin and Rin focused on one of the Chūnin. Raito quickly dispatched his opponent with ease and went to help Hakumo sensei. As he was running towards their sensei, the enemy Jōnin used a jutsu to blind Hakumo sensei and ran towards Jin and Rin, who had just finished their opponent. Before Hakumo or Raito could react, the enemy Jōnin stabbed Jin through his heart with a Lightning release technique. Jin crumpled to the ground and Rin screamed. Hakumo, still incapcitated couldn't do anything. Raito, filled with rage and tears streaming from his eyes, covered his hand in his lightning style chakra and shoved it through the Jōnin's torso, striking his vital spot. He ripped his hand out and grabbed the dying Jōnin by the throat, screaming. It took Hakumo and Rin to pry Raito away from the now dead Jōnin. Rin held a distraught and crying Raito in her arms as the team looked at the lifeless body of Jin.

Upon returning to the village, Raito was hailed a hero for saving his team from the Jōnin who was rather infamous. Raito was never the same after Jin died. He locked himself in his room for several days. He only allowed Rin in where he would cry and shake. After this event, Raito would develop into the person he is today. He does not tolerate those who break rules and values the system and the mission above all. He holds few things closer to him than the rules, Rin and his family being the only things.

Raito would infamously be dubbed the "Silver Fox" of the Hidden Hill due to several things. The first was his summoning; a large, silver fox. The second would be due to his hair/shrewdness and his extraordinary speed in battle. The third and final reason were his eyes, which looked exactly as his summoning's did.

1. It is thought that Raito's mother is from outside of the Okagakure and that she is actually from Kaminarigakure.
2. Raito's favorite dishes are Miso Soup and Ramen
3. Raito's least favorite food is menma and most fried foods
4. His favorite word is "Fox" - (狐, kitsune)
5. His favorite pastime is reading with Yukino
6. Raito dislikes ninja from Kazangakure. (The Jōnin from his background was from this village.)
7. Raito holds Kaminarigakure in high regards, due to their mastery of the Lightning Style.

9. Raito wears a necklace that Rin got him for his 15th birthday. It is his most treasured item.
