After you die
« on: February 27, 2015, 01:06:24 »
I think that maybe after you die, if you don't pay the $100 you should be able to keep maybe one jutsu or something.
This would stop a lot of rage quitters, and keep the playerbase optimum.

Meh, I don't like this. If you find a rare jutsu, use it to your advantage, it'll just make you stronger and/or more difficult to kill. As far as non-rare jutsu, they aren't rare so go get find it again. There will be a lot of jutsu you'll be able to acquire from stores and such. Besides, it's not like a single jutsu will make or break your strength. In the end, the stronger the jutsu, the more risk you take using it.

By acquiring jutsu, I mean scrolls.

Edit: Not to mention the fact that perma-death is in certain areas. While you'll be able to "defeat" anyone pretty much any where, they won't be PK'd (permanently killed). You got the balls to go into the PK zones, you shouldn't complain about being PK'd.

Also I don't think that saving 1 jutsu would stop kids from being angry. Even if that jutsu was something extremely special and rare like "in naruto wise the rinnegan" the kids would still be angry that they have to start over. But thats what you get for playing hardcore, permadeath. They just gotta deal with it.

Maybe have a leaderboard for the most powerful fallen warriors?

It was said in the first stream; there will be a graveyard tombstone-esque thing that will display those who have been permanently killed. Just something off the top of my own head, it'd most likely be something similar to the "Monument of Swordsmen" in SAO 2.

Do note, this example is more so something to give you a visual. Don't start ranting about whether SAO is shitty or not.
