Title: SLO Mafia Game #1 Game Thread

Hello and welcome to the first ever SLO Mafia Game!!! You have all been given your roles and we are ready for the games to begin! Now a little recap of the rules for those who forget.

1. No revealing or hinting of Role! In Shoutbox or Game Thread. I will know.
2. All SLO Forum rules apply here so don't get mad if you get targeted or killed, it's just a game we are all friends here.
3. Do NOT take a screenshot, quote, copy/paste any of the PMs sent to you from the Game Mod. Doing so will get you mod-killed and, in some cases, banned from future Mafia Games here on SLO.
4. This game is Plurality Lynch. Which means that the player with the highest number of votes at the end of the day will be lynched.
5. Ties will always end in No Lynch.
6. Voting for "No One" will not count in this game. As stated earlier, only ties will end in No Lynch.
7. The only group that can talk outside the game is the mafia AND ONLY in the quicktopic that I will send when the game starts!
8. If you can't be active please PM me and I will try to find a replacement. If not you will be modkilled.
9. This game requires activity to at least be on once a day if not I could make a few exceptions but not many.

Now that the major rules are out of the way, the main rules are back on the sign up thread please go read them if you are unsure, I don't want to have to ban you lovely people in the first game. :D

Now in order to lynch someone I need it to be said nice and clear so please if you wish to vote for someone write this.

Exactly like that nice big capital letters at the end of your post.With of course *BLANK* being the person you wish to vote for. In order to change your vote please write.

I CHANGE MY VOTE TO *BLANK*

Just so that I know this is a change of vote and the lynch tally can be changed accordingly and properly. Any other questions please pm me and if they are really good I will make a mod post in the chat. Thank you. The first post will be reserved for me where I will do a small write up to begin the game. You may all post now!

PS. Some of the PMs I sent out didn't have subject headings, that is a fail on my part I am sorry. I was a bit rushed, Also some of you may see that your role is not too great at the moment don't worry. As I said in the sign up thread after the third night everyone will get a second ability trust me. Your abilities will be pretty sweet... I hope. Some of you have great abilities, that's because I didn't want the first three phases to be a complete snooze.

PSS. If you forget how to play it's simple, during the day phase you are trying to find who is the mafia. If you are innocent you are looking to make sure that in the end the Konoha Ninja Survive and the Mafia (Who could they be) are dead. During the twilight phase we all just cool down and relax, no voting is done we just chill until I post the results of the days lynch (Or no Lynch) then at night everyone uses their role to try and get some more information.

"So seems like the whimpy Konoha Ninjas all got themselves seperated, this will make things easier. We can't have them all in our way, the plan was simple.... We are to kill all the Konoha Ninja."
"Well since they got themselves separated and this forest is so dark, they won't know who they are attacking. Let's cause some havoc, maybe they can kill themselves?"
"......Let's Go I don't want to have to deal with this..."
"Y-Yes..."

Konoha Ninja:
"Hey! Is where did you all go?!"
"Sasuke-Kun! Where did you go! Don't leave me alone here!"
"Heeeeeey! Sakuraaaa! Sasuke!!! What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

*Inaudible yelling and screams coming from all over the forest*

"I have to make it to the tower, I'm sure my team will meet me there... But how do I get there."
All the Konoha ninja are going to have to use every technique they have learned to get out of this Forest and back to their squad.... But some are a too scared and just want to hide for a while, maybe soon they'll get the courage to do more (See what I did there ;) After the third day phase you guys are golden.)

So it seems people are confused. All abilities and everything is PMed to me. All voting and lynching is done in the game thread. You don't pm the people you choose to use your ability on you ONLY PM ME.

Edit: There seems to be some confusion. Now when I say no Role Revealing I'm not saying you can't say you are town, You just can't hint that say you are Naruto and your ability is ____ You can say you are town all you want and that you "Believe" So and So is town too because of an ability of yours or you have figured something out. Just don't say anything that has to do with your role.

Also I think I'm going to increase the day phase by 12 hours. Just so people can get started.

Edit 2: You do what you can to stay alive, just don't break the rules. If you have to, you can lie all you want to not have a target on your back. It's up to you as to how you want to play the game.

Random voting is bad but this is the first round, nobody has been killed yet. So what do you suggest we do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We have 12 people here, which means that if we all vote for each other then all the votes will be cancelled out. 6 vs 6. It'll end up in a tie. For example since Blob voted for me i would vote for him back.

Agree, or disagree? Everyone has to agree otherwise this won't work. Oh, and it'd be better if they decided fast.

Sand fragments could be seen and one unfortunate soul had their arm completely broken. The Genin stood tall and used all its speed to get away from the red head boy who attacked him.
“We’ll get them tomorrow night Gaara quick, let’s go find someone else.”
As the hours went on some of the Genin had some special skills up their sleeves. “Byakugan!” A boy said to himself as he heard a noise coming from a bush close by, without making any sudden movements he saw exactly who the being was and took off, this new information was good. It was going to help him find who the enemy Ninja were that wanted to ruin the exams.

Also, I think the reason behind the silence excluding voting is because there isn't much to talk about yet.

(Some abilities I just can't put into the right up as they will normally give extra information to the user that isn't in the ability. If your ability asks for you to gain information I will PM it to you otherwise, you just have to wait. I will PM you if your attack has been interrupted or stopped but I won't tell you if it does nothing. That's just something you are going to have to hope you are lucky with.)

I take @Mars out of the above list as he somehow gave a reason that he voted Paradox as Paradox voted him.

As mafia always randomly votes so i think that the three

@Konohuro @jcryer @Shivraj are the mafia

My best bet is that the mafia should be them or at least one of them is the Mafia

Among the three of them the most random vote was of @jcryer so i vote for him....

(p.s: Lets talk some sense into the game now......shall we)

I did not random vote, @ParadoxRonin random voted and I asked him what his reasoning was, he didn't reply U_U but You also randomly voted, and I also asked you for your reasoning But I didn't see anyone say their reasoning :/ so, I think that you people are very suspicious but I agree with your point of random voting, which just further proves my point on one of you being the mafia. Also i am saying that the way you guyz replied about he was the first to randomly vote so he is the mafia is wrong just as jedikan said that he could be the byakugan user so he was first to vote about the mafia.....but he cant tell others that he is the byakugan user....it could get him killed.......
i am really sorry for not writing that point (point about why i didnt suspect ParadoxRonin) in my reasons.......but i can edit it if you want

I'm not actually sure what you're talking about. Many of us didn't give a reason for voting, but you assumed quite an unlikely motive. Also, as Shiv said, you then proceeded to use that reason on us.

Seeing the thread almost no one voted Paradox and the number of votes for Jcryer is almost the same as Uzumaki, I saw some stuff like Uzumaki trying to reassure us he was our friend, which is very suspicious (no offense irl I am you friend too!) but if that was the only thing he did wrong, I wouldn't have been changing my vote to Uzumaki Hari (I am changing my vote to @Uzumaki Hari) since I already suspect him of being mafia, cause he keeps contradicting himself, so sorry bro, no Hard Feelings but in my vision, you are the Mafia.

Sorry guys, it's 1am. I've had a busy weekend getting ready for final exams so this is going to be a lack luster post. Uzumaki Hari has been lynched. This means Uzumaki Hari is no longer allowed to post in this thread no matter what. He is dead and out of the game.

The day grew dark as the two sand Genin were forced to leave their comrade behind. It came out of no where and none of them saw how it happened, Gaara had never been touched before, let alone killed by a trap in the ground. There he was Gaara of the sand, impaled from every angle by long spikes that pierced straight through his body. The sand never had a chance to protect him, all through the evening the leaf genin one by one saw the dead body, a few didn't think anything of it but a select few were shocked. The man who was said to have never had a scratch on him, killed just like that. These Chuunin exams were harder than they look.

The night fell short when suddenly in the middle of the forest a voice could be heard yelling then right after a blue aura appeared causing a huge commotion. Neji Hyuuga was sick of all this senseless running around and decided to stop the confusion, everyone else laid low not wanting to run out into it. The final days were coming along.

Neji Hyuuga has stopped everyone else from using their night phase abilities. The Day phase has begun abruptly. (Even if you send me your ability for the night it has been blocked.)

You have 48 hours to work out the target for todays lynch. Good luck.

Jk ofc, i knew paradox was Naruto before voting Hari as Karlos told me when he pmed everyone their roles "she knows who Naruto Uzumaki is (ParadoxRonin), and i knew Hari, json and Blob were the mafia because of Hari wanting to PM those two, i stuck with this throughout the all game as i was 100% sure i was right.

Also i knew there were 3 of you because in the chunin exams they hang around in groups of 3's and also Karlos said the 2 other sand genin didn't know what happened to Gaara, i assumed those 2 other sand genin were mafia too.

Paradox didn't message me at all, only Knohuro messaged me saying if i was sure about json and that he was working with Mars.

I didn't cheat at all, i just used the little things to help me cause like Tesco says, "Every little helps" :D

What can I expect... People cheat, makes the game less fun and look at that all the mafia die straight away. I do believe Kai did some good detective work because hell you mafia didn't even coordinate. But Good game none the less first game is always a learning experience and now need to get angry at each other over it. Just a game.

I think that was the beauty of Secret Assassin - you can obviously say you are not mafia/assassin, and all forms of communication are valid, but the main rule is that you can't show the PMs. It means more interaction between the players, actually creating more tension and rivalry, and giving people more chances to see other people acting strangely, and more accusations and assumptions.

I did love the Mafia game Karlos, don't get me wrong, but I think it might be best to tweak a couple of the rules for next time, to fit in with the people we have in this forum especially :)
