Title: Permanent Death
Post by: Mars on June 14, 2014, 16:20:28
So I saw this on another post someone mentioning Vreg making it permanent death, now I don't know if this is just a rumor or if it's actually true, but I think it would be a great idea.
If you think about it, it will stop people running around and doing crazy stuff like killing their own friends just because they'll respawn.
Opinions please?  :)

now when you go for a fight you really will be prepared and if you sacrifice yourself for something you will be a legend

it will be scary though going in the wild by yourself

I think this would add a whole new dimension to the game. It would also add appreciation to strong ninja (been around along time) and I would love to see how this would work with the hokage (New hokages due to the death of old ones etc.)!

It should add some intense scenes into your game experience too.  :)

I think a perma death should only be allowed to characters who achieve something worth protecting. For instance, learning to wield a third nature. And something like that is only allowed once they  master the other two. But once they learn their third nature, a price should be put out on his head or a mission granted from the Kage to Anbu skill lvl shinobi. This way, once that person is able to weave two chakra natures (making them overpowered), they will have to be cautious when using it. So that even those they once called friend won't be temped to kill him to collect a huge reward. I think this would also allow for a better system for handing out keke genkai, so that it isn't random. Instead given to those who have earned it, and kept by those who master it. However, once permanently killed the keke genkai is handed to the Kage for reward. If kept that person, is now branded a rogue and the cycle continues. I think this can be done with more than chakra nature based justu, maybe even make room for ocular abilities.

You would lose the special ability once you die once, because you would have to make a new character.

well how about if you have a kekkei genkai and you die you "unlearn all your jutsus" except that one,I know its not like in real life but think of it like an reincarnation where the universe knows the ability is ment for you ;)

there should be a system of some sort. like once a player dies they have a new base player like the  dead one. lets say a cut scean when you come off the coast in a boat to the village your from. and your lvl is cut in half every time you die. i think thats fair and all your things from the dead you will be like an inheritance for the new you.

At least in dark souls you could recollect your lost experience every time you died.

But still perma-death is okay as long as it's in special zones :3

they can add something in permadeath zones, like rare weapons, scrolls etc. so make sense enter in a perma death zone xd

I like the idea but then I would be annoyed if I died and had to start all over again.

If you don't want to start over don't go In to kill zones until you know you can servive and even then be very careful

I think perma death zones should be everywhere exept villages and towns.

I think perma death zones should be everywhere exept villages and towns.

Although it doesn't say so in this post; that is the largely accepted fact about perma death zones. They will be present everywhere in between and around villages; making inter-village travel both expensive and risky.

I like the idea of perm death but that also heavily depends on the contents of the gameplay at the time..It really just depends on what you are able to do over all in the game..Things are far too early and everyone seems to have ideas on what they would like to see out of the game some are more logical than others.. But I do support a perm death basis but again it all depends on the gameplay and how everything will work together.

I guess you are right. In my opinion people should message on posts that are new and not old. The real person he would forget about that post. This is the real problem.
