Here's a bit of background info - I've been waiting for 3 days now for rain even thought the Bureau Of Meteorology (Basically the weather site for Australia) said there would be rain :/ So I was bored tonight (It's 11pm where I am at the moment) and decided I'd improvise, and so I recorded my shower, distorted it, EQ'd and compressed it. I also recorded some crickets outside. So after an hour of playing around I created what I think sounds like rain outside of a house :P It's not the best but I just wanted to share. Aaaaaaannnnd I only have my laptop microphone to record with so that's why the sound quality is crapy XD

The first one almost blew my ears out xD
But the song is quite relaxing ngl.
Sounds like something that would be used in some sort of village or cutscene imo

The rain sounds decent in my opinion, comparing to the real rain. And the song is indeed relaxing.

Thanks for the feedback Konohuro :) I'll be making some more music hopefully in the next two weeks. Maybe something that takes a little longer than 20 minutes to make XD More complex basically :P

Now that you mention it.. yeah it seems more like some stuff flying around. But I blamed it on the recording quality which is not up to him.
If you start listening with the thought that it must sound like rain it will be better ;)

Thanks for the feedback all :) And yes, I'm aware it sounds like many things haha. Once I get back to uni I'll record some good quality sounds :) And no need to put 'if you take offence to this' crap :P I've been a musician for awhile now, I'm past the point of taking offence XP I encourage any feedback, it's all helpful :)

Thanks for the feedback, it finally rained here and so I recorded that this morning. I've been working on it for thirty minutes now and I reckon it sounds much better than the last sound :D Again it was recorded on my laptop unfortunately :( Thanks for the feedback on the song as well :P I recorded and mixed the song in the studio in Brisbane at my University. The band was called Miel, they are a jazz, pop band from Brisbane, Australia. Check em out on Facebook if you want :D
