Nova:
The original post wasn't updated for quite some time, so I decided to take that task on by myself.
The aim of this thread is to help new players on deciding what clan they want to join.
I kept the old clans and added a few new ones (I left out a few extremely inactive clans, as there is no point.)
If you'd like me to add your clan simply send me a message.

Okagakure / Hidden Hill

   Tsukegami
-Pros:Multiple chakra natures,fast reflexes,Strength and Stamina.
               -Cons:Weak against Genjutsu.

   Pawa-me
-Pros:known for their speed and strength as well as their taijutsu, ninjutsu, and genjutsu, above the average in shurikenjutsu as well but not by much.
-Cons:Low stamina, average chakra reserve below average in fuinjutsu, extremely bad at kenjutsu.

   Maindo
-Pros:Mind Based Technique(mind transfer),Sensing and Good Predictor.
          -Cons:Weak against Taijutsu Users, needs to focus on target.

   Fengshui Clan
-Pros:Good at Genjutsu, kenjutsu and ninjutsu.
          -Cons:Weak at long range fighting, for example fūinjutu.

Kaminarigakure / Hidden Thunder

-Pros: Decided by the member.
               -Cons: Decided by the member.

   Geass
-Pros:Excel at Ninjutsu's and Genjutsu,High Intelligence,Large Chakra Reserves and Agile.
         -Cons:Taijutsu,below standard in strength and prone to arrogance.

   Hachimitsu
-Pros: Hachi guardians are only members of clan which can possess jutsu techniques.
               -Cons: lot of members are weak against any type of jutsu or techniques.

   Akagure
-Pros:Skill in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Kenjutsu and high speed and strength
           -Cons: Weak to&against Taijutsu

   Tatsumaki
-Pros:Excel at wind jutsu, speed and taijutsu.
           -Cons: Weak to&against genjutsu and kenjutsu.

Morigakure / Hidden Forest

-Pros & Cons:depends on the member.

               -Cons: Weak at/to Genjutsu, Lacking Physical Strength.

   Ookami
-Pros: Great at Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu.
               -Cons: Weak at/to Genjutsu, and are weak to girls (perverted).

       -Cons: Not very skilled in Ranged weapons and Genjutsu, although it's possible for a clan member to excel at Genjutsu, low chance.

            -Cons: Their rage can sometimes get the better of them.

   Koryuu
-Pros:Specialized in Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu & Taijutsu (with kunais involved)
            -Cons: Below average in Genjutsu, Shurikenjutsu and Kenjutsu.

Hokorigakure / Hidden Dust

-Pros:Have exceptional speed and strength, masters of the lightning art as well as ninjutsu or taijutsu based abilities and desecrate water style user.
                -Cons:Abysmal defense to genjutsu, poor defensive abilities, poor endurance.

   Kagome
-Pros:Kenjutsu, Ninjutsu and have a large chakra reserves.
          -Cons: Weak to Genjutsu.

   Hori Burazazu
-Pros: Kenjutsu, Bukijutsu and Taijutsu (demon blood enhances all of this).
           -Cons:Demon Charms and blood jutsu.

-Pros:Strong at Kenjutsu, defensive taijutsu.
-Cons:Weak to aggressive taijutsu, small clan.

   Kamakiri
-Pros:Strong at setting traps, tracking, Kyujutsu.
               -Cons:Weak to lightning attacks, Genjutsu and Fuinjutsu.
