Shinobi Life Online Character / Bigfoot
« on: November 15, 2016, 05:01:32 »
Name: Bigfoot
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Height: 8’11”
Weight:761 lbs
Hairstyle: Shaggy fur throughout body with some matted patches
Facial hair: Totally hairy face
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Black
Blood type: O
Primary chakra nature: Earth
Hidden Village: Morigakure
Good or evil at heart?: Good

Description of the character's history: Bigfoot’s home cooking was once the pride of the village; nobody made shrimp gumbo like him. This all changed when some dishonorable wench opened a ramen stand next door that drove his business into the ground. Bigfoot swears by the fur on his chinny-chin that the ramen owner used the dirtiest tactics to steal away his customers. Once, Bigfoot claims, the ramen shop owner’s wife had snuck a bowl of shed rattlesnake skin into his gumbo special! News reporters throughout the village struck him with horrible reviews and his clientele evaporated like rising noodle steam overnight.

Today Bigfoot makes his living selling knicknacks and furs to local shopkeeps, whose fondness of him wane and wax with the seasonal bounty Bigfoot brings to them. He’s begun to notice a distinct look on the faces of village humans: one of mild confusion, one of fear. Have they forgotten how kind he’d been with them before?

Still, at least in Bigfoot’s eyes, he hasn’t been entirely outcast from the village- he’s got a few friends roaming around. Like Gale, a small hawk that finds the ticks residing in his fur amusing; or Shelly, the kappa who sits beside him whenever he goes fishing. Oh no, he’ll never tell her how he feels for her. He’s too afraid to spoil the good thing they have going with romantic gesture.

Life’s looking up for Bigfoot, only a few more summers of work and he may just be able to start a new business to get back at those rotten noodle merchants!

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Re: Genjutsu

An easy way to simulate a horror scenario without getting too far in depth is to spoof a health drain ability on the target, make it seem as though they're taking damage for a few seconds even if they haven't actually taken any damage. This could create the sense of paranoia throughout a fight without getting very visual or complex.
