Already been discussed in other threads. If you're curious about SLO progress, check the SLO progress topic. Vreg was on hiatus since the last update, but is now working on the project actively again. He's close to finishing another update, but it has been taking a while, and development will likely continue at a slower rate than before the hiatus because some developers and donators rescinded their support for the project when it went dark.
