Title: Jutsu/Techniques
Post by: StrawHatSeyi on July 11, 2015, 12:31:26
I think there should be a quite large amount of ninja that have techniques of their own. For example, shikamaru with his shadow shits, and choji with his expansion jutsu. I say If there were 1million playing, about 150k have these techniques. The chance of getting them is much higher than getting KG.

Choji and Shikamaru's powers are kekkei genkai. But I kind of agree. Weak KG should be implemeted, that have bigger chance to be received.

They are not KG, they are clan techniques.

They're a jutsu called Hiden (yes with one d) and in the lore they were created to combat clans who had an advantage in the form of Kekkei Genkai

I like the idea of the jutsu being implemented, but putting them into the game will be much more difficult.

Yeah, but somewhat like Kekkei Genkai these would probably bring up quite a few complications. Unless it's something along the lines of the ninja dogs like Kiba or the bugs like Shino, which would still be difficult but not as much as expansion or shadow manipulation.

Because Vreg totally has enough time to think up and create 150k jutsu so everyone can have their own.
And then what? Players will complain they don't have their own unique jutsu if they were that common.

If vreg can use a system where the jutsu can be random creation with the elements it would be possible. But i don't see that happening.

True, but they wouldn't be unique.
If that system was used a "unique jutsu" would just be something like fire/water/earth/lightning breath with a tinted yellow/blue/purple colour.
There would be no unique jutsu mechanics which is what the OP is asking, but you idea is the closest possible solution to it.

Can we just keep the game simple and practical, 5 chakra natures, med, nin, tai, ken, KG and chakra mixes, if this were the case, things like chakra mixes wouldn't really be considered rare anymore.

also true but what if the creation center could not make a jutsu already in instead i think if you find scrolls or legendary scrolls you could create a new jutsu with them some thing of great. Or thur out time vreg could have events for new jutsu and the top 10 players will obtain them it sounds solid to me.

It still takes a while to make them. A system would alos have to be designed which allowed for this to work effectively, which is pretty hard to think up.
