Damn it, more conflict........... I wonder how I'll ever achieve world peace..... Oh well... I agree about the tactical conflicts though, not straight on slaughter, will actually require people to use their Brains instead of Brawns. And the stuff to motivate villages to fight, wow man, good idea :) but it just creates more war ;-;
When these big wars aren't raging, are we gonna see a ninja cold war anyway 0.O

I like this idea of more strategic attacks adds a lot more to the realism and variation to war.

Shinobi Life Online Discussion / Re: There are To many Villages.
« on: August 22, 2015, 05:08:56 »
There is a problem tho if the first players who play the game picks a village and others follow them because that village has more population than others, that village might get overpowered as the time goes on and everyone who plays joins that village. So it might be good to have a limit for every village.
I reckon what they could do or are planning to do is when the full MMO is released you'll have the villages on release and when they finish the rest they'll add them in a patch and give those people who were in the game before the patch an option to switch to the new villages in order to populate them and give people with an existing character the option to play in their preferred village when it's release.

I think a system identical to the one from WoW is perfect.
How did WoW's work?
Your screen would become fuzzy, when you said something with an S in it would sometimes change the S to Sh and sometimes add ...hic to the end of sentences and your character couldn't walk in a straight line
There was also levels to being drunk from Tipsy to Smashed. Smashed is having the effects above more noticeable and happen more often. BTW I'm all for this, think it has been talked about before but maybe have some bar games/gambling or something there.

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Legendary Weapon idea
« on: August 16, 2015, 10:22:21 »
I've noticed people have been making these Legendary Weapon threads, so I thought I would throw my hat in the ring.

Name: Heiki-ko (Translates to Armoury)
Compatibility:Metal release is required to wield the weapon
Power: Truly a weapon for those who seek to master all types of weapon jutsu or even those who like a blade to fit the play style to which they are accustom to whether it be a small Tanto or a large Nodachi. The weapon is capable of being moulded and shaped in the midst of battle with the potential to become a different weapon entirely. This weapon grants the compatible wielder several jutsu.
The first being a set jutsu that will change it to become different weapons entirely (within the regions of available weapons in the game).
The second being jutsu that make adjustments to parts of the weapon such as length or width of it, maybe even expanding it mid swing or stab.

Personal note: I believe the very chameleon nature of the blade makes it difficult to find the wielder of it, making a trial to find it and increasing the wielders life expectancy/joy ride with it. unless all of the forms were to have a similar appearance such as a massive cringy skull on it then that'd kind of take the difficulty out of finding it.

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Re: Jutsu/Techniques
« on: July 11, 2015, 16:37:24 »
I like the idea of the jutsu being implemented, but putting them into the game will be much more difficult.
Yeah, but somewhat like Kekkei Genkai these would probably bring up quite a few complications. Unless it's something along the lines of the ninja dogs like Kiba or the bugs like Shino, which would still be difficult but not as much as expansion or shadow manipulation.

I like this idea, but there would have to be customisation for those items so that people don't just get the stock Face mask/Rebreather

Also, would this just affect lore, aesthetics and background of your character, or would you want it to legitimately need to obtain a Face mask to have a better chance in the desert and the same for similar places, to be honest this could maybe be turned into a thread on it's own.

Shinobi Life Online Questions / Re: Gates and Gate-only jutsu
« on: July 11, 2015, 16:25:27 »
That's fine, I kind of knew if they are implemented that they couldn't just be outright the same as the anime due to copyright issues.
But what's also got me wondering is taijutsu techniques, if they're going to be just automated combos (doubtful) or if they're going to be things similar to the taijutsu that the gates give in the anime.

Shinobi Life Online Questions / Gates and Gate-only jutsu
« on: July 11, 2015, 14:19:52 »
So personally the most appealing fighting style from Naruto was Guy and Lee's Taijutsu and Chakra Gates both of which I had presumed to be necessary for the former and probable for the latter.
But when they would open the gates they would have a new taijutsu available to them after opening the jutsu's respective gate i.e Hirudora after opening the Seventh gate. What I'm trying to asking is are we going to get jutsu along these lines?

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Re: Seal affiliation
« on: July 11, 2015, 14:05:58 »
I like this idea but I think it might have to be Jutsu up to a certain level to bind to a single seal, for balancing purposes or maybe make it so if I use it as a single seal it's less powerful than when I properly weave out the entire jutsu.

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Re: Sage Mode
« on: July 11, 2015, 13:40:57 »
With sage mode I agree with the fact that it should be difficult to train/find in order to train.

But maybe they should add sage mode only jutsu that you require to be in sage mode to use like the Toad Oil Jutsu Jirayia could use and the way they could work is that the jutsu you get differ between what your primary chakra nature is, So if my primary chakra nature was fire and I went sage mode I'd get some sage jutsu variations or entirely new jutsu. This could even expand further than ninjutsu and into other jutsu that could be sage only like Genjutsu, Taijutsu, etc. If it's going to take a while finding this place or missing out on training your base abilities, it's got to be worth your while.

Choji and Shikamaru's powers are kekkei genkai. But I kind of agree. Weak KG should be implemeted, that have bigger chance to be received.
They're a jutsu called Hiden (yes with one d) and in the lore they were created to combat clans who had an advantage in the form of Kekkei Genkai

Same.
Something that ties into this and hasn't really been talked about either (to my knowledge) is are we going to be able to pick as many of the jutsu trees as we want or are we limited to 3 or 4, I'm sure there are those who want to at least try everything once without making a new character each time.

I presume we will be able to learn everything, it's just not everything is going to be useful (for an individual play style) and what we 'can' use is determined by our infamy with certain jutsu.

From the sounds of it you wouldn't necessarily need to kill Vreg which would be a blessing, because to my knowledge he was going to go around and hunt Rogue Ninjas and Organisations.
To me all five chakra natures sounds more of a curse than a blessing, because in order to get five you needed to beat Vreg, then logic stands that from that point on you and Vreg become targets for everyone who wants all five chakra natures... doesn't really affect me Taijutsu and Chakra Gates all the way.
