How did you start watching/reading Naruto?

(1/1)

Indigo:
What got you into it as an Anime or a Manga?

For me (I'm sure I've already said this but meh) I had never watched any anime before and for some reason Naruto Shippuden Opening 2 (Distance by Long Shot Party) was on my suggestions so I watched it and I thought it looked awesome.
Ever since then (About 2009) I've been hooked on it, I started reading the manga when I got up to date with Shippuden.

Unlike a lot of people I know who like Naruto I don't really watch any other Anime, I've watched Death Note which I loved but other than that there aren't any other Anime(s) that interest me.

Anyway, I'm interested in knowing how everyone else first heard about Naruto.

Thanks!  :)

m4r1us:
It was on a program when I was a kid (but it only showed 60-70 episodes there). I loved it as a kid and a few months ago I decided to start reading the manga. At that moment I had loads of free time so I caught up with the manga pretty fast. It's second in my top three manga/anime (after DBZ)

halika:
I was watching a bunch of other animes online and it was in the "You may also like" section.
Ever since then Ive been HOOKED
Dunno if any of you guys are familiar with NeverWinter Nights, but it allows you to make your own D&D based 3D MMORPG game using presets. We had a server going for a couple years and it was awesome. That sealed it for me lol.

justforbusiness:
it was on tv. at first i hated it but i gave it a chance and then i started liking it..
after 4-5 years i started reading the manga

VikingRaid:
It was on Toonami every saturday at 8pm. I watched it every week since 3rd grade til 6th grade when the first series ended. Toonami claimed for months that they were gonna bring over shippuden but then Toonami got canceled. A year later I started watching shippuden online. When I started watching it, they were a little farther than the part where Naruto seen Sasuke when he was at Orochimaru's hideout.
