SLO:DM will not be taking place in the open world that SLO:MMO will be in, imagine DM to be a bunch of small servers with each one having a capacity of min. 2 - max. 64 players. Each small server will also have a specific game mode turned on (many are planned) taking place on a specific map (many are planned, in terms of size think about the current map in the test).

In terms of customization, in the first iteration of SLO:DM we plan to have basic customization limited to choosing gender, clothing (+color), hair (+color), skin color and eye color. Customizing body proportions and custom skins will not be present in DM 1.0.

I originally thought this was all going to be under the training/sparring system in the official release.
It would have been more realistic to implement training/sparring rooms/areas in the official release that will mimic the features of having a separate server. >.>

It would be heavily influenced by whoever is in the room at the time; specific rules could be set (only taijutsu, for example), it could be made private/public with a maximum number of players and could even be exclusive to clans/organisations.There could also be pre-set game modes from the user(s) to select.

However, the ability to privatize training grounds, set player caps, and edit rules won't be available to everyone (Jonin, team leaders, clan heads and appointed organisation leaders, may be the only permissible users for example.) It could even be up to the Kage who has control over training grounds.

I can see this being used and possibly abused for risk-free training. Players could improve their skills (making them much better than other AS/Genin at their level, thus rapidly improving their ELO), use jutsu they haven't unlocked in-game (unless SLO:DM will be taijutsu only?) or meet with a friend who lives in another village and spar (without the risk and inconvenience of travelling to said village).

If a user wants to do any of those, they should do it ingame and ingame only.

In my opinion at least.

you're complicating things. it's just going to be a survival based tournament. Where you could potentially get ELO points and make a name for yourself

I understood what you were suggesting and I had no problem with that. >.> It was Vreg's mention of external, deathmatch servers that had no influence on the actual game that I was responding too.

Ahh I see. No problem :)

Or you can simply apply to an organisation that you seem interested in.
I don't see why people make these types of posts ngl.

Furthermore, idk if many people would go out of their way to recruit someone who keeps going inactive & coming back for a week tops.
This...

edit: you can't expect high tier Organizations to ask you if you would like to join them.
Apply and deal with the outcome.

you'd be surprised. This post isn't hurting you in any way. Idk why you're so concerned lol

I mean I used to be really active but irl stuff make me go inactive. As you can see I'm trying to be active again. Also I don't really like applying to orgs as I do not like rejection. So I would like people to come to me and recruit me. This post was basically a post saying "I'm active again"

I currently am not part of any Organizaton. I used to be Owner of Kami Senshi, a respected and prestigious organization, but it is in hiatus for the time being. It may or may not be revived. Furthermore, I am looking for an Organization to join. Preferably a high tier org. As i was a former owner of an org, you know I have somewhat some skills in leadership and combat in game. Just hit up my DM's if you would like me to join your organization.

I've got a question for everyone in the Org: Is this org your first priority. Your one and only org?
