I actually dislike this idea. It's pointless and makes the game almost revolve around being hooked up etc. I think marriage/lovers/couples should be left to RP and RP alone. Either that or an "official" way for players to marry but just as a title or something. None of this complex, buff giving, senpai-seeking NPC shit.

Straw Hats.. Swordsmen.. This definitely does not sound like a One Piece inspired clan/pirate crew at all.

people are assuming they'll be more NPCs
I hate when people believe they will be more NPCs

Jokes aside, you either meant "They'll have more NPCs" or "There'll be more NPCs"

Shinobi Life Online Clans / Re: Kottatsuki Clan
« on: May 15, 2017, 02:38:23 »
This genuinely would be a clan I would consider joining (If I was not dead set on staying loyal to Himitsu) but the whole idea that the 2 did not just eat the food the wolf provided (Reasonable) but also drank her breast milk (Weird) kind of grossed me out and put me off. Kinda makes me wonder what you are into and how that mindset would fit as a leader.

Another thing I have a dislike for is the fact the brother was knocked out, assumed dead and thrown into the water. A simple bonk to the head type of knockout would not leave him in a coma state, at least not how it was described. Water, even hitting his face, would wake him up before drowning even set in as a possibility... most likely.

Finally, I dislike how desperate it appeared to have so many detail traits and the fact it had little things that aren't remotely factual such as "Great taste in music." which is actually an opinion. Your "Great taste" could be absolute trash taste to another person and therefore is voided.

Things I did like though, were the fact its history is shown in its logo, history was rich and gripping, that it's quite homely in the sense of a pack that sticks together and is included in the history of the creation of the Hidden Snow (However, that could change when the lore is made and states otherwise.)

All in all, I really like this clan and hope it actually grows in members. (I am a bit late commenting about it but have only recently decided to check the newer Clans out in detail.)

General Discussion / Re: #SLO Interviews - First edition
« on: May 09, 2017, 18:35:25 »
I agree tho with the anonymous interviewee, it seems like they probably WOULD have more if even only 15 mins a day was spent working on the game. Fifteen minutes a day for two years, one of which being a leap year, that's 731 days. That's 10,965 minutes of time spent on the game, which SHOULD be enough time to get a little more done than we have already, and if ALL the devs did that, then it would be 10,965 minutes per dev, which means we could have had a LOT more finished. Just saying.

If you have made a game, I will take your opinion on board and say "Okay." as well as the anonymous interviewees too. If not though, nor even tried. I am going to have to smh at your comments about the progression. Making a game is not easy. More so with a small team. Whilst SLO does well to recruit people, you have to understand not all people will give their time for free to get the project on the road. Nor should they.

As for your 15mins a day theory, I am going to have to say I disagree. Say they did 15 minutes a day, that could be slower than when they get a whole day to put in one day that makes up for the days they couldn't. What my point here is that you can't say it would be faster without knowing how much they do right now.

Progress doesn't show for many theoretical reasons other than "Laziness"; Which seems to be a common choice by many. It could be the fact that they worked on several jutsu but did not go through with them because of coding bugs or the fact it didn't fit. Maybe they found there is important things needed to be fixed server side or even more important back-end things needed to be made prior to getting some colorful jutsu out.

What a lot of you need to realise is that the thing we have now is not meant to be the MMO. Not by a long shot. It is something they made and add to now and then to keep us entertained whilst they work on the actual project. Yes, some stuff in the current thing we have now will help move the project forward such as buildings that we get to test and MAYBE the jutsu (IF no trademark on them. we may get a whole different lot of jutsu.)

There is so much more to making a game then the stuff you actually see and the back-end stuff is hard as fuck to do. You fix one bug and it could create 5 more out of no where and that's just the coding side of back-end; It's hard work. So unless you actually comprehend what goes into getting an MMO project off the ground, don't try to complain about progression. Because the stuff we have right now? Is not the MMO they are developing but a thing they gift to us to tryout in a sandbox which we should be happy they even do whilst working on the game itself.

To sum up: Stop bitching unless you know what you are talking about and find other things to do if you are bored with what the sandbox has for now.

Gets Triggered: Automatically a bad person? Alright.

If you judge someone just cause they got angry at someone else's comment, then it's you who is immature and would rather judge a person based on a single instance rather than actually getting to know them; To me this just seems like general banter in the general discussion thread. Eventually someone would've posted something that was completely unrelated to this, and no one would even remember this. But nooooooooooooooooooo, we're the SLO community, never will we let anything goooo

jk, I love ya'll.
He called Diamond a tumour for making an educational post. Get over yourself trying to say I am immature for defending Diamond for that lol.

jk, I love ya'll.

I am going to try to stay unbiased / not picking a side.

While I do think that how Tsunayoshi replied was unjustified (too offensive for something like that) I can see why he would get irritated/pissed.
Seeing as Diamond Lee shed light on a forgotten (imo useless) argument, which could harm the reputation of those involved.

By being inactive Tsunayoshi could've started fresh when he returned as none of the newer members would know about his past actions, and thus they wouldn't judge him.
Now however that is no longer the case.

(Relevant example for those who didn't quite grasp what I meant)
Imagine if Tsunayoshi was a criminal in the past, he got punished and spent time in Jail, he got released and tries to "restart" his normal life, applies for a job at several companies, then someone like Diamond Lee goes to all of the companies to talk about things Tsunayoshi has done wrong in the past, giving the company a negative image of Tsunayoshi already regardless of it being relevant or not (yes, people can change.)

Of course Tsunayoshi replying in the way he did doesn't exactly bring any form of positive reputation with it, but that's not the point of why I stated this.

TL;DR: While I think it was wrong of Tsunayoshi to reply in the way he did, I don't think it was the right decision to revive a dead argument that could harm the reputation of others.

As for the rest, I suggest we all drop this argument/discussion, as I don't see it going anywhere.

I'd agree with this if Diamond went out of his way to explain what happened but idek anything about it. What made me judge him is how he reacted to it being used as an example among other examples.

It would be like me getting triggered if it was first gen Kata vs forum was brought up and I went straight toxic about it. It'd be stupid of me and it is stupid of him.

To me, Tsunayoshi just gave himself a bad reputation by being easily triggered about an example being used that involved him. Shows me that he is much worse of a person than the example even suggests.

.... because it was relevant to what I was saying ?
How about you use some common sense.

Oh, some guys are fighting in the forum. I have to appear cool, so I'll mention some drama, that happened last year. Since that's relevant and I need more text in my post so that it doesn't qualify as a shitpost.

You're a fucking tumour
Grow up.
Wtf did I just read? No idea what drama you had that was brought up but damn dude, you went from 0 to 100 over it being mentioned as an example? And it was last year? Smh. Get over yourself or get off the forums you absolute child, @Tsunayoshi

How can someone using large text annoy you? Remi doesn't care about minor things like these as they're not a big deal, how on earth will that make him a bad kage. Stop getting triggered by everything and being so supercilious @StriderOtaku @Blazefp

Because it fills up most of the screen on my phone and makes me switch lines every 2nd word. More scrolling and higher chance of missing a line. Plus I keep reading it as someone is screaming at me which is annoying by itself.

His personal opinion on these quarrels is exactly part of the work of a kage, solving disputes from the people that don't really go against any law. His reaction was quite self explanatory on that end and didn't solve anything. But yeah I was overstating on purpose, this doesn't mean he'll be a terrible kage, just that imo he should listen to everyone before discarding a "problem"

If you can't read the text on your phone, don't read it at all. Wait to get to a PC. Surely it shouldn't take much brain power to figure that out.

As for what you said about how it determine Remi's capability as a Kage? Lol@You. Do you see Kages mediate children arguing about childish things in Naruto? No. Because it isn't their job. I mean, if it is their kid it is a different story, but you get the idea.

A village leader doesn't sit around like King Bob on Recess saying which kid is right in each argument they have. (Good for you if you got the reference.)

You sound ridiculous if you ask me. @Blazefp

the way you seek for attention is rather repulsive. Grow up.
Who cares?
If he chooses to write that big then that is his choice there are no rules against that...

Sure because if someone is annoying everyone else for no reason but it's still within the rules we should just sit back and mind our own business.
You're gonna be a great kage Remi
Because a personal opinion over a minor quarrel on the forums really determines his capability as a Kage. Well aren't you the special little snowflake. :)

Kill them with fire I say.

Not saying the people who have these kind of names are bad people. I am sure I have befriended some fanboys on these forums.

Realistically, I feel those with these kind of names should get a free name change AND it should be impossible to register with the names Uzumaki, Uchiha, Hyuuga and any other Naru-nerd name in the future.

Really though. Your organisation is begging to be hated. Change it or not, I don't care, just letting you know what is to be the outcome.
