Hello everybody, and welcome to another game of Secret Assassin, our forum's most successful game :P
It's been a while since the last one, and I'm bored.
I think I'm going to start the game when there's 8 players, so that's 2 assassins and an ANBU (I may increase the number if loads of people want to join). Post below if you want to play :D
HOW TO PLAY:
1. In order for the game to commence there must be at least 8 players.
2. Each player will be assigned a role (I will pm you); Either a Shinobi or an Assassin
3. There will be 2 assassins
4. Every ‘night’, the Assassins (who will know each other’s identities) will agree to kill a Shinobi. They will tell me via pm who their victim is and I will inform the Shinobi of their fate in the thread.
5. Every ‘day’, all of the players will get to vote to kill someone off in to game, in hopes to target the assassin(s).
6. For every 2 Assassins, 1 Shinobi will be an ANBU member (meaning none if only 6 people play)
7. ANBU will be able to ask me the identity of a named player (Shinobi or Assassin) once per night (via pm). The ANBU will be on the Shinobi's side, trying to vote the Assassins out of the game.
RULES:
1. If at any point in the game, the Assassins outnumber or kill all of the Shinobi, they win. If all Assassins are killed, the Shinobi win.
2. Lying about your role is authorized. If you’re an assassin you’ll probably want to convince everyone you’re not, so they don’t kill you. Likewise, you can pretend to be an Assassin or ANBU if you'd like, but then you would become an instant target.
3. 'Day' voting will be done in the thread.
4. Use the thread, shoutbox, or inbox messages as your resources. Try to survive.
5. If you are an assassin and you are killed. Do not reveal the other assassins out of spite. If the assassins win, you still win too. This rule doesn't apply to the Shinobi.
6. Once you are dead, you may not help other players.
7. Roles will be randomly assigned using random.org. Don't ask for a role. ;D

We've got 11, let's just start :) There will actually be three assassins in this game, due to the number of players.

A group of 11 Shinobi are sent on a simple mission from the Hidden Hill village, to provide medicines, food and fresh drinking water to the Hidden Ash village after a terrible earthquake rocked the earth. At least that’s the cover mission. Secretly each of you have been warned that there are at least two traitors among you, and you have been charged with finding and eliminating them. As you all enter the village you see it is destroyed beyond repair, with most buildings completely decimated. You evacuate the remaining villagers to the nearby caves, where the rest of the villagers had already fled to with supplies. You all decide to set up camp in the village as night begins to fall.
The following morning, you awake to the sound of branches and twigs cracking, and one of your group's shout! You find Kai; neck broken; at the bottom of a deep hidden hole - a trap!

There may be some people misunderstanding some aspects of the game... Do not send me PMs about who you think it is, talk in here, PM each other and talk on the shoutbox! It is different rules to Mafia...
Post here saying *I vote for x* or something like that, and then each person has more evidence to fuel their suspicions... :P

Noticing it makes me the assassin ? I just happened to read it before the vent started, and i wouldn't brag about a kill had i been the assassin, that's absurd.

First Joca now Blober, I guess we are starting to get a hint of who the assassins are...... But I'm still waiting it out, not certain that they might be assassins, But the next shady thing those two do, Imma vote :I.

Sorry this phase has gone on for so long, but what with people sending pms, I wanted to extend it :) we have 4 votes and a lot of suspicion :D

Srry saitou, but u seem even more suspicious to me, ur targeting everybody's attention from you to me, btw i dont want all mods out of the game, its just that u were too quick to comment about Kai getting killed, so to me it makes most sense that ur the assassin, if i was assassin, i wouldnt kill Kai and target voting on you, it would be a stupid act of drawing attention, id vote someone with less ties to Kai to avoid suspicion :)

The majority of the group started to get suspicious of the way joca was acting so blasé about Kai's death, leading them to think he was one of the assassins. In the morning, however, they found joca hanging from a tree; rope around his snapped neck. There was a letter on the ground by him...
"I knew you were planning to kill me, however I wanted to take my own life first. I am not one of the assassins, but I haven't been able to convince you, and this is the only way I can.
P.S. Please feed my dog when you get back (if any of you have survived after not listening to me
P.P.S . I told ya so :P"
The shinobi are silent for many minutes, deep in contemplation and feeling extremely guilty for suspecting joca...

The group awoke the next morning to find Konohuro, neck slit in his sleep. It couldn't have been a painful death... It doesn't look like he even woke up, that there was any struggle...
The remaining faithful shinobi vowed to find these heartless assassins, and kill every last one of them.

If Joca wasn't an assassin.. then maybe Blober? he DID seem suspicious, He might have even voted Saitou to look like he was with joca, Like they both were assassins, so that joca would die first..... but it's just too dangerous..... so barely a possibility.... frankly, I have NO clue who to vote for, since anyone might be the assassin right now....... but the most suspicious YET, is Saitou or blober, and I say Saitou, cause Joca died after he pointed out saitou, but again, too risky, so Saitou is just as suspicious as anyone, so is blober.... I'm confused now......

This is complicated.. The assassin has no route of action, it would be someone careless. I was sure it was Joca but I was wrong. I will hold off voting for now and see if anything fleshes out. I feel if Shivraj was the assassin, he'd play it more strategically but that's just my opinion.

Just reviewed the stage of the game that we are currently at, and I am going to stick with my theory that Saitou is an assassin purely because he talked like he was trying to take charge of the entire group which has increasd my suspicions

99.99% sure that i am an assassin because of one statement ?
You know what would be funny ? If we were to find out that you are one of the assassins by the end of the game, and then we came back to read your "plan".
Could be someone else too, like those refraining from voting to drift away attention.. But who knows, i was wrong about joca.
P.S blober, I accidentally edited your post and wrote the above instead of editing. Check that it's alright and re edit it if anything.. So that i wouldn't be a suspect for a ridiculous reason.

Nope, it's only cuz you try too much to argue your statement when you can simply keep it for yourself instead of making the assassins to target you because you found out who they are. And also because you wrote too much for me to have enough patience to read it whole. This applies to Shivraj too.

This is another very good way of distracting someone's attention from you. If you really are an assassin than I have a big respect for you from now on.
By writing that, you implement in someone's subconscious that you are far from being an assassin, placing you in the bottom list of their suspects.
I'm only mad that I didn't thought of this when I was the assassin.
This doesn't work for someone that likes psychology :)

I had nothing against me.. I was making my statement.. We're meant to work together to find the assassins. It was 2 lines lol.. Your method of figuring the assassin(s) out seems to be "Anyone talks, they're assassin, must make that clear as soon as someone posts." which makes no sense xD

2. @Konohuro - You're dead. Did I mention that as you were buried, the assassins sewed your mouth shut? -_-
3. From this stage onwards, voting is now compulsory. If you do not vote in 2 rounds, you are killed off sacrificially. I'm sorry it's so strict, and I know you guys haven't made up your minds yet, but the game hasn't really got started and the 3 assassins are doing pretty well... More voting means more tension!!!

Oh.... And what charges are you two suspecting me on? The fact that I posted a long post? Well then, everytime Dragon will play this game he'll be a sure assassin! And the fact I just didn't put my point out there subtly? Only an assassin would do that....... A Shinobi is bold, I don't have anything to hide, so better give me your reasons or I know who the 3 assassins are ;).

I do not know what to exactly say to prove my innocence except to tell you I really am not. I'm not going to make an absurd counter accusation here, But i'm going to say that I think Esteez and Xassassin are suspicious. they both refrained from voting in the first round, and then they both, without a reason voted against shivraj. Now the third assassin could've been joca, which would explain why they refrained from voting, or the 3rd assassin is simply silent.
Anyways, my vote goes against Xassassin.
Those who have voted against me, suit yourself, go on with your vote and regret it by the end of this, or choose wisely.

I have had 3 people on my mind since this game started and i understand how you would think some sleepers would be a killer but i know im not an assassin, im just confirming my suspects on the assassin list. If you think about it why would someone make an assassin with their name saying it. Also the fact that your freaking out shiv makes you a suspect even more to me, its honestly a gut feeling.

I see how your trying to make me look like an assassin but it wont work shiv, ill always go with my gut feeling and sometimes i am right and sometimes i am wrong but you do seem to be freaking out and something tells me, you are one of the assassins.

I'm not saying you ARE the assassin, I'm putting my views out there boldly you're voting me cause of a gut feeling, who does that? Only two people do that, either Assassin or Anbu, you MIGHT be ANBU but I know I'm not an assassin, so you're either an Assassin or, least likely, Shinobi voting for me, I'm going with the most likely one.... Me freaking out is quite different, believe me.... This is me calmly asking you for your reason, which is a gut feeling, sorry, my suspects are either you or Blober, maybe both, who knows, unlikely though.

@jedikan was going to fetch some water in the morning, when he tripped and fell into an extremely deep canyon, and laid there in agony for over an hour while the others tried to get to him. Once the group found him, they carried him back to the camp site and tried to stitch up his wounds. Sadly, he died soon after, but not before saying "While I was lying down there, I was thinking about who the assassins re. You haven't killed any of the assassins yet. They are... "(And then he died).

The next day, @Saitou was stabbed to death by ********, behind a tree. This story is getting worse. No one saw, but they found his body soon after.

Of course people will think im suspicious but I am also suspicious of blober as well and of course I still believe shiv is an assassin, I'm not an assassin however, i'm trying to get rid of the assassins and if you get rid of me, well then I guess the assassins will win this game instead of shinobi. As it is everyone keeps killing the shinobi and we have yet to get rid of one assassin, if my gut feeling is correct then we will have killed one assassin if you vote for shiv. Saitou wasn't on to anything with me, at one point I thought he could be an assassin but then I noticed something and was wrong, but its up to you leebz to either believe me or kill another shinobi.

and xassassin you haven't explained me the reason behind the "gut" feeling >.< shouts assassin, cause ANBU don't mention their gut too much, or they get gutted xD.

Everyone wants me to explain myself and i honestly cant give ya any other reason besides just a feeling i have, you ever noticed that when you pick an assassin and they start blaming you as an assassin that you end up being killed eventually. Then everyone is like oh shit wrong person, thats pretty much whats gonna happen to me. If i get killed just member to point your eyes towards shiv and maybe blob..

Shiv question, im not the only one who voted for you, yet all eyes are on me..hmmmm..are you trying to cover for someone? I could be highly wrong because a assassin wouldnt vote for another assassin, they would vote shinobi without being detected, while you blame a shinobi they take that chance to kill another one and then it raises suspicion on that person, which thats whats happening to me, first it was joca then saitou and now me, all shinobi.

First of all, not all eyes are on you blober is suspected of being an assassin as well, you're making your own situation worse than it actually is.... And it seems to be a trick of the assassin, whoever is suspected the most, they keep framing that person, taking the blame off of them, apparently, it didn't work too great :P for all I know you might be the assassin saying your own trick to confuse me >.< but yeah, my suspicion is still on the same people.

sorry i havent been as active on the game for past couple of days but i was spending a weekend with my cousins XD, guys i am thinking it is Shivraj but if i vote shivraj people will think me and Xassassin are the killers. What people don't understand is that there doesn't have to be a reason at all. And you don't have to justify yourself for the vote either. In this game, your intuition is the only thing that leads you and only a few times some clues. But most of them are not even for sure true. The way you speak, the words that you use, the synonyms that you choose in a sentence, your reason and your thoughts activate someone's subconsciousness. Not even that person knows what lies inside his/her subconsciousness; she/he knows only what it's orders are and what it tells him to do.
So to make it simpler: It's psychically proven that is impossible to justify or to explain the source of your intuition. To many information to be observed that compose the intuition.
Besides this, one (be it assassin or not) always will have a reason for voting, is practically impossible to vote without a reason so stop saying that" I vote you because you voted without a reason." Because that person may also not know his reason. Of course there is a chance to apparently voting without an explanation because he is the assassin, but this is a too vague clue to use against someone.

If you're gonna rely ENTIRELY on your "gut feeling" , then at least make sure that you can understand where a part of your intuition comes from. And it's only natural that he asks for a reason when someone suspects him. Else than that , yeah.
And go read saitou's and joca's posts. Saitou seemed like he was shouting (xD) and was more offensive (not offensive by offending joca ofc) , while joca slowly started pushing back. Yet when it was revealed that joca was not the assassin , we all suspected saitou because he acted so suspicious when we suspected him.
I thought we are supposed to learn from our mistakes , not repeat them.
