Founder: Unknown.Leader: Anonymous.Affiliation: None. The Tatsujin 8 is secret, but vast. Its members extend across the world. It is almost guaranteed that a member will exist in every town, while not uncommon for a member to be located in small villages.
History:
The Tatsujin 8 is a business that has controlled the hidden dust from its infancy. Known to be derived from the Yamazaki Clan, They political influence has affected time itself throughout history. Thought to have been a legend, stories of them are only told through rumors and a rhyme that bears their name. They are said to employ a breed of highly-trained ninja known only as Jin to carry out their interests. They brandish deadly weapons and bear tattoos, ominous masks and golden pieces of clothing. Only few men have been known to be associated with the organisation, one being the infamous Toshiro Yamazaki. Said to have suffered from gold sickness, his dream of dominating the black market trade of the Dust led him to join the Tatsujin 8 and during the warring periods of the last century, he amassed immense wealth, more than he or anyone could have imagined. As the story goes, he fell out with the org due to his greed, selfishness and lack of self-control and it eventually cost him his life, impaled and left before the seishin brothers' statue in the middle Hokori's marketplace for all to see; an example of what the organisation did to their enemies. The Tatsujin 8 always kept growing, from trading illegal goods, they moved on to arms dealing for various villages at war. The organisation had made a name for itself by the turn of the century and was finally labeled a force to be reckoned with. Well known for their notorious and ruthless methods, they moved on to a list of other services including peddling narcotics, information gathering through extensive spy networks, providing mercenaries and protection as well. They have always managed to get around things by blackmailing and bribing officials when necessary and discreetly disposing of uncooperative individuals and groups. This subsequently led to a high level of efficiency in their work and there seems to be no stopping them. Now the business looks to expand its domain.

The Tatsujin 8 conducts business with anyone who is willing to pay. These include hidden villages and all organisations. Just about anyone can use our services as long as the terms of business are satisfied and our price is met.
Membership:
Members of the Tatsujin 8 all tend to have a vast amount of life experience having specialized in one or many aspects of it. They take interest in the pursuit of power, wealth and subsequently happiness. Each member has certain sets of knowledge and skill that they dedicate themselves to.
All members of the organisation also recognize the necessity of a balanced world. It does not mean a world of law, chaos, good, neutrality, or evil. Instead, everything must have their weight upon the scales.
Joining the Organization:
Members are gathered by invitation. The Tatsujin 8 is secret, so it is difficult for people to apply directly. Rather, the qualified are sought out by existing members, then recruited if their ideals are compatible with the organisation.
Membership Criteria:
Membership can be varied, as each person is unique in how they achieve their goals. Obtaining any one of the following would be enough to catch the attention of the Tatsujin 8.
-Mastery of a skill important to the organisation.
-A concrete understanding of power and its acquisition.
-Significant age or life experience.
Structure and Advancement:
The Tatsujin 8 is divided into 8 sections, namely;
assassination-tiger kanji, Tora 虎
intelligence-fox kanji, Kitsune 狐
protection services-Crocodile kanji, Kuma くま
arms dealing-snake kanji, Hebi 蛇
espionage-bird kanji, Tori 鳥
loan services-owl kanji, Fukuro フクロウ
trade-fish kanji, Sakana 魚
drug trafficking and hijacking-cat kanji, Neko ネコ
The moment a person becomes a Tsumi, they are required to designate the next person in line to be a Tsumi after them. This decision can be changed at any time.
If a Tsumi dies before designating the next in line, or if the next in line dies before they are declared a Tsumi, the position is granted to a high ranking member chosen by the Tatsu, Ikiryo Zen'no no Sabaku and Katugsuchi Yamazaki. The chosen member can choose to pass.
After a Tsumi or Tai-jin dies, one week must first pass before their position is granted to someone else. This is to allow the possibility of them returning to life.8 Tsumi
11 Tai-jin
The Jin are countless and bear the same crests as the Tsumi on their masks depending on their sector.
Allies: The CreedEnemies: Anyone who interferes with business.
Rules:
-Any member who tries to betray, kill or put a hit on a fellow member of the Tatsujin 8 will be denied, excommunicated and the placement of constant kill orders will be on his head.
-When meetings are called by any of the eight Tsumi, the members under their leadership will often have to attend in some way.
-Members of the organisation are free to retire, but they must still be linked to the Tatsu. That way, secrecy can be maintained. However, retired members will no longer be contacted if a meeting ever needs to take place.
-A member that completely goes missing for half a year is stripped from their position.
-Members of the organisation who leave without permission, or are expelled, are often put under extreme surveillance. They may even be captured and imprisoned if they are considered an extreme danger to the organization and balance of the world.
-Decisions made by the council may be considered final.
-On the council, the Tatsu hold the most power and no meeting can be held without at least one present. Each single Tatsu vote equals two from a Tsumi.
