Hello fellow shinobi men,
As you all (some) know that the development of SLO is really slow and unprogressive, I'd like to recommend hiring developers from within or from other communities for faster development and that way SLO will have a better and larger fanbase and donors. Now from players perspective, SLO hasnt changed a bit since 2016 except kenjutsu. I'm not hating but there has to be some progress or the supporters and donors will slowly cease and this community will be ded, thats right DED.(lol jk)
Thanks.

I believe its a application based hiring only since it is unpaid, also vreg cannot hire just any fish in the sea, although yeah development is SLOw, but it can't be helped since the current devs have jobs/ school, which by all means is normal for them to prioritise over SLO (unless they think otherwise).
Best they can do.. mebe they are doing it (idk), is to advertise the project so that it gets enough exposure to garner the attention of eligible prospective devs who can give more time on this project.

Tbf yes the development has been slow for a while, but the team is working pretty hard most days.
- Throwing around new ideas
- Optimising the Village
- Creating new animations
& finally, as you mentioned
- Recruiting more DEVS
In fact in my whole time of being here in this community so basically since (August 4th 2016) I haven't seen the DEV team recruit as many DEVS and get this much work done for a while, but recently that seems to all be changing. In fact, just over these last 4 or so months, the Dev team has recruited a few new devs.
Oh and trust me when I say this because I am in the Developer discord chat, it's not dead. At least Everyday the DEVS are throwing around ideas and showing off what they have made for the game. I just hope it stays that way. :)

you think this hasnt been said
you dont know whats going on behind the scenes

and from what Lethal said, the devs are more active than anyone on the forum
they arent gonna change something cause someone who doesnt know the deets thinks things are too slow
