Riddles, deduction problems and logic situations.
« on: August 19, 2015, 08:25:53 »
A simple (or not) game. SImple rules: Someone posts a riddle or anything similar. Whoever will answer correctly, will post the next riddle. Please do not use google for finding the answers, I trust in you. If no one can answer to a certain riddle, the one that posted it will say the answer and the first one that attempted to answer will post the next riddle. Tips are allowed at the request of the players.

This is the first riddle:
3 ants are walking through the desert in an Indian file. The first one, in front of the line says: In front of me is desert, in my left side is desert, in my right side is desert, behind me is another ant.
The second one says: In front of me is another ant, in my left side is desert, in my right side is desert, behind me is another ant.
The last one says: In front of me is another ant, in my left side is desert, in my right side is desert, behind me is another ant.

Why did the last ant say that behind her there is another ant?

Because the earth is round, so the ant at the front is technically behind her? @Konohuro

No. It's much simpler. All you have to do is to think like a child. Put yourself in his skin and try to answer to something that can't happen normally.

@Konohuro Last tries, does the last ant

A) see his shadow?

B) as he turns around to look behind him, he sees that there is now an ant behind him? A little convoluted, but it might work :P

I'm teary-eyed but never cry.
Silver-tongued, but never lie.
Double-winged, but never fly.
Air-cooled, but never dry.

I know this riddle :)
But I will leave the chance to those that don't know it yet.

Make external links with one of those two things that you suspect ;)

It's a little hard as you need to possess some common knowledge about a certain root of history that... well, is not that common... *cough*iwon'ttellyouthatisaboutmythology*cough*
