Mars and I came up with the idea to give everyone who joins the game in the first month(or a week etc) a special item. It won't be something that gives us the advantage over others, pretty much something for cosmetics or even some in-game currency that can only be bought with real money(or any in-game currency). It could be a badass looking weapon, but it could also be a badass cloack for all I care. And again it won't give us the advantage over others, so it's pretty reasonable imo.

Actually, we'll have different ranks of items for something like the first 5000 members. Obviously, the first 150 > the first 1000 > the first 5000. If you're part of the golden 150, you still get the items from the first 1000 and first 5000, in that kind off way.

So giving the other non-active members such an item wouldn't be really fair towards the really active people now imo. Why not make it so that the first 150 people to register with a forum acc get such an item? So you can choose to login using your forum account (similar to logging into some games with a facebook acc).

We have their contact info. Out of the first 150 those who will come back will, the rest won't and therefore will receive no item. But no, in-game registration shouldn't matter, it's basically internet speed that decides who registers first, I don't see why being one of the fastest to register is such a honorable deed that it should be rewarded with an item...
