Quick Hand Seals

So we were talking about how, at higher levels, you would be able to shorten the justu hand seals but we ran into the conflict of justsus that have similar starts clashing.

Scenario: You know 2 different 6 seal jutsus, both start with the same 3 seals and differ for the rest.
Lets say  Level 3 Chidori: HOIJUK
Level 3 Lightning Storm AOE: HOIMIM

Shortening to the first 3 hand seals doesnt work. So here's an idea; Lets say you do the first 3 seals. From there you have a few options. If you have several 6 seal level 3 jutsus, they would be numbered. IE: Instead of HOIJUK, you would press HOI2 and it would automatically complete the Chidori hand seal chain. Would that work?

I also have thought of having the time between hand signs decreased..

for example, once you start playing the game, you cannot use for example, chidori instantaneously. your use of hand signs will be slow.

H O I. it should be like this imo.. H -> 0.5 sec ->O -> 0.5 sec -> I

Or more than 0.5 sec.

And the better you become in game, the shorter this time becomes allowing you to cast a jutsu faster.

This is just a thought that I've had.

So just to make sure I got it, you mean like giving the handseals a completion time before you can do the next one?
If I got it right, i think the idea is interesting. It would definitely solve the issue of how to make higher levels seal quicker than lower levels, but while at lower level, it would be distracting to be trying to do a jutsu and have to keep looking away from the fight to see if your handseal time is completed yet.

I actually had that in mind before mentioning the more scientific hand seals idea, maybe it's indeed best to go with something like this and stay with the traditional zondiac signs.

Yes, running + seals will be available at a certain jutsu level.

They mean something like this. You have 2 jutsus that have the handseals:
Jutsu #1: Snake->Dragon->Tiger->Ram->Ox->Boar
Jutsu #2: Snake->Dragon->Tiger->Horse->Monkey->Hare.


Once you become more skilled you get the option to shorten your justus number of handseals at about half. So you'd end up with two jutsus that have 3 handseals:
Jutsu #1: Snake->Dragon->Tiger
Jutsu #2: Snake->Dragon->Tiger.

 
The dilemma seems to be how'd you chose the jutsu to cast and halika proposed having jutsus that have the same seals, and level, numbered. So you'd end up doing a sequence like:
Jutsu #1: Snake->Dragon->Tiger->1
Jutsu #2: Snake->Dragon->Tiger->2.

Hope I didn't comfuse you even more :)

ok i get lol :). Thanx man :). It will be far more easy yes. But i do think the 'manual way' for me, is interesting. But its a really good idea i like it. Will save a considerable mount of time when i battle

Bringing this topic up again, Why not make it so that in my previous statement you have to activate it with your R key to actuelly start the jutsu, so that being said to shorten a jutsu why don't we make it when you master the jutsu you have the option to change the amount of signs used and the sign at the end so per say


Snake->Dragon->Tiger->Ram->Ox->Boar
Snake->Dragon->Tiger->Horse->Monkey->Hare

Can be turned into

Snake->Dragon->Tiger->Boar
and Snake->Dragon->Tiger->Hare

if just removes the 2 jutsu that don't matter and jumps to the last one. shortening the cast of it.

I don't know how high the number of hand seals can get, but to me 6 isn't high. Only jutsus with a high amount of hand seals should be shortened when you gain a level of strength or power.

The simply solution to shortening hand seals as you level jutsus up would be to decrease the time completion in-between them. .5 seconds to .25 to .1, .5 is still fast so it's not like you would be forced to check to see if it's done because let's be honest, it will be before your eyes even check.

I like the idea of adding a number at the end of the jutsu chain so it knows which one to cast, that's a great solution.

Again, I don't fully know the controls, so this is an assumption that you can use W,A,S,D or the Arrows on the keyboard to move. . If you use WASD or the arrows, moving and doing a jutsu while looking around on the camera to face your target? that seems extremely difficult and kinda impossible. SOOOO, if you guys add the RMB +LMB like Blizzard did with WoW, allowing you to both move and look around, it would be a great solution to being able to move and do a jutsu.
