Description of the character's personality:

Leonardo feels no guilt when harming, killing and profaning. His main goal is to destroy Haigakure and obtain revenge.

Description of the character's history:

Homurashinzui Ichizoku (焔真髄一族 – Flame Essence Clan) is one of the oldest shinobi clans. The motto of the clan is: “Without the Essence there is no Flame”, where “the Flame” stands for the leading family and “the Essence” stands for the rest of the members. The leading family is known to inhirit fire chakra while the rest of the members are known to inhirit wind chakra. Wind is the essence of the Flame.

After the creation and short development of this clan, a mighty godlike dragon named Dāku-en (Dark Flame), envious of the Flame, tried to annihilate the leading family and subdue the members to support his own Dark Flame with the Wind. In order to prevent this, the clan leader developed a hiden self-sacrifice fūinjutsu which sealed his own soul in trade of the dragon death. Although, the dragon never really died since he was always ressurected in a secret place as a child but with the same memory. The dragon kept trying his plan and the clan kept fighting him back which led the clan to join Haigakure.

With the help of Haigakure kage, Homurashinzui Naruto, the actual leader of the clan, created a new fūinjutsu which did not need self-sacrifice to restrain the dragon. It function by sealing the dragon inside his own egg shell, forming a new egg. Haigakure had found the egg shell long before and gave it to Homurashinzui clan.

Some time after the joining of Homurashinzui clan to the village, Dāku-en attacked the clan territory and battled Naruto in a near death battle. It ended with the dragon being succesfully sealed back into an egg, however Naruto lost one arm and was found almost dead because of chakra and blood starving. The sealed egg was guarded in the temple of Homurashinzui, protected by the leading family.

After this, Homurashinzui clan started to grow in power, population and wealth and some members started the rumour that the clan would have his own village soon. This rumour reached Haigakure and a conspiracy started among the population.

18 years had passed since the rumour started spreading. A secret group of Haigakure decided to destroy Homurashinzui clan made up a plan and was ready to act. In 22nd of October, the same day that Homurashinzui Leonardo, son of Homurashinzui Naruto, turned 18, the secret group led by one of the counselors of the kage started their first move, which was to distract Naruto and the kage outside the village.

During the festival in honour to Leonardo birthday, the secret group cast a genjutsu on Leonardo which made him go into the temple and unseal the egg. This was only possible since he had the same chakra as Naruto. Although, something strange happened and the egg was absorbed into Leonardo transforming him in Dāku-en. The dragon took this chance and started attacking the clan. Stronger than before because of the chakra infused by Leonardo’s body, the dragon succesfully annihilated everyone from the clan, ignoring the fact that he wanted to subdue the members, users of the Wind.

Naruto and the kage were informed that the territory of Homurashinzui clan was being attacked by the dragon and quickly returned to the village. When Naruto arrived he noticed that the entire clan had been killed by Dāku-en and also noticed that inside the dragon there was Leonardo’s chakra. He realized what happened and in an act of despair used a combination of the self-sacrifice and the last fūinjutsu developed, sealing and restraining the dragon powers inside Leonardo. This gave back Leonardo the control of the body and prevented any future transformations. The only way to break this seal was lost with Naruto’s death.

When Leonardo woke up he realized that the entire clan was dead, he knew that he had done it. He started throwing up when some ninjas approached and arrested him, he was guilty of exterminating the clan. Leonardo was kept in a dungeon cell below Haigakure and his body became extremely skinny and weak. One day, when Leonardo was almost completely losing his mind, the kage counselor came into the cell and told the truth to Leonardo. After explaining everything the counselor killed Leonardo.

No, it was not the end. Leonardo woke up laying in a cold ground, above him there was a mirror. When he looked to the mirror he remembered his entire life as the memorys gained colour in his eyes. After this, the reality changed and he was in the middle of a dark room, where in the center there was a cage. Inside the cage he found Dāku-en which explained Leonardo that Naruto failed to restrain all of the powers. Leonardo inherited the power to ressurect and Dāku-en fire chakra. Besides that, the dragon also explained that they were inside Leonardo’s mind, a system similiar to a jinchūriki.

After leaving his own mind, Leonardo decided to destroy Haigakure using the powers of Dāku-en, the same powers that killed his clan.

Powers acquired because of the dragon:

• Ressurects after dying, maintaining the memory. The body becomes equal to when he was 18 and loses all the skills and capacities earned by training.
• Stronger fire release ninjutsu than a normal Homurashinzui.
• Strong against genjutsu because of the dragon waking him up.

Weaknesses related to the dragon: The dragon slowly sucks Leonardo stamina and chakra. This causes Leonardo to have less chakra and even less stamina than a normal Homurashinzui.
