Meteorite Material
« on: October 24, 2016, 13:46:04 »
Something just occurred to me while thinking about crafting.

Will there be Meteorites in SLO?
And could we use this cosmic material for crafting weapons?

If so, should it be rare and powerful or common material found out through the SLO universe.

Thoughts about this?

In terms of the Lore thread I made, it would make sense considering some could contain Chakra Beasts:

One day, a meteor struck the ocean, resulting in a massive tear in the country, splitting off one part of the Land of Sky as it slowly drifted off with the tides of the sea.

... the boulder lit up and transformed, shrinking immensely in size, and then levitating above the ocean - the First Chakra Beast had emerged.

Hence the rocks/minerals in it could be rich with Beast Chakra, greatly boosting the strength of the blade and/or attributes of the weapon's wielder.

But again, that Lore thread is of course, not official.

Otherwise, the meteorite could function as a  rich source of metals/minerals and thus be an easy though very rare source of crafting resources.

Citizens in village of Hoshi (Hidden Star village) use the meteorite that crashed in their area to train. They created their own release. I think we could work with something like this in the game if a meteor crashed like once or twice a year at random locations.
