I think we should start as child, and learn everything we will use. We will be older it just depends on time.

It might be hard to implement, I mean I can't think of any games that have an aging process set aside MMO.

There will be no aging.

Think of it like this:

When someone becomes part of the Shinobi Life Online universe, an alternate version of himself who has gained genin level shinobi skills during his lifetime is created in the virtual world of Shinobi Life Online.

This person is now given control of this virtual character and the faith of his alternate self lies in his hands.

Will he make his alternate self become a well known hero for his actions in the Shinobi Life Online world? Or will his alternate self be the infamous feared leader of the most dangerous and evil clan?

Can you see where being a stupid kid doesn't fit in that?

Yeah I agree with this. Having to do training in the academy and aging would be really boring and stupid at the beginning. That doesn't really attract any newcomers

Yeah, aging isn't a good idea but about the Academy student, it could be something like an intro in the actual game. You know, a 5 mins intro like Press W to go forward, and so on and to get genin your teacher shows you the substitution/clone jutsu and if you do it right you get promoted, otherwise you try again until you succeed.

I agree, a little Academy tutorial would be great.

I can see how that would be great, but I can also see how that would have no priority in development over other more important things.

Ok now, I didn't say that's a must or that it must implemented in the first release of the game. It's your decision afterall it was just a suggestion .
