Title: Combining jutsu's?
Post by: Reminance on January 19, 2015, 16:58:27
What if you and your friend perform a jutsu and combine them does that give a certain effect?
For example you perform a water jutsu.
But your friend perfoms a wind jutsu, And you combine them does that give an effect like: Ice Release?

Ok I looked all over the forum for that one post but I couldn't find it. I guess it's been deleted.
Anyways, to answer your question, these kind of collaboration techniques will definitely be available, but only to skilled players. Another thing, if what I remember is correct, I think only two jutsu of two complementary natures can make each other stronger (e.g. wind and fire). And no, it wouldn't create a Chakra-mix like effect, it would only strengthen both techniques.

Wouldn´t it make sense to instead of only strengthening it, getting a whole new jutsu? Like when yamato used a water jutsu and naruto used wind style rasengan (not rasenshuriken) they got a whirlpool-like effect? (It was in the battle against Kakuzu)

SLO will have a jutsu physics system where jutsus can cancel each other out, strengthen each other, weaken each other, etc.

I look forward that chakra element also has passive skill, like if you're chakra nature of lighting and you are fighting with a guy that has chakra element of wind, the other guy will have a higher "critical attack" or base attack, because a Wind user is stronger against a lighting user.

Maybe he's kind of immune to lightning jutsu, like he absorbs them and gains additional damage when using wind jutsu for a certain period of time.

There are some interesting things like the passive skill :D
Like in world of warcraft you also get passive skills.

I think ice release is only attainable by a person with KG simultaneously using two elements (water+wind). This was thoroughly explained by Kakashi to Naruto as Yamato performed wood release. If a wind user and water user combine their jutsus, a physical mixture of these is created and not another element or as mentioned above, whirlpool. But, that would still be great. However, another awkward example is earth+water, instead of wood release the two users can create "mud" (LOL, though it's useful because of its flexible nature). It's simply a physical combination of the two.

***Edited wood + water = mud ---> earth + water = mud

Great explanation ±D
