Hi guys,
Just a quick question regarding hand seals(2-4-1-5) etc..
What is to prevent people from macro-ing the keys and insta casting jutsu in game?
-
There is a limit for ticks per second. I believe it is around 16 atm (don't quote me on that)
You can't insta cast and you can do hand seals just as fast as a macro can.
However, I'm sure in the future Vreg could implement a system to check if all your jutsu casts have the same speed and all match to see if you're using a macro.

I like your idea of timing the taps, to check for "irregular" consistencies..
Ok so you say there is some kind of limit to jutsu casting speed, thats good. Another issue though that still remains- it might not be faster to macro the jutsu, but it is far more convenient. As in, press one button that would call the macro for jutsu x, press another button that calls the macro for jutsu y, where as the other guy has to use on of his hands(you use a finger) to activate his jutsu, ie- you have the advantage in combat

Are you suggesting macros should be allowed? o.o

No I am not :) What I am saying is that- even though they regulate how fast the "hand-signs" can be made, the guy with macro's will have the advantage during PVP, since he doesnt have to use his hand to weave his signs, just a button, while the other guy has numerous buttons, requiring him to use his hand.
So all in all- PVP will be unbalanced due to macro'ers having the "fluid-combat" advantage

You shouldn't worry, there will be a system against Macros, and if people use macros, we'll most likely be able to report them for doing so.

Macros are getting better too... I had read a post in some forum a while ago saying it was difficult keeping up with the evolving macros.. Hope the dev team has already planned their counter measures...

I'm sure using macros will become a punishable offence when the game is fully released.
Right now it doesn't really matter because everything will (most likely) get wiped and start fresh when the game is out.
