Title: Legends between villages?

It would be super cool if you could form legends about clans within villages and spreading to other villages.

I would like the Chiitsuki to be a thing of stories that not many people have met. However one thing that would be cool is a script of some kind for random npc villager stating something like "(special move) is so powerful there has only been (number of players who use the skills) who have been able to master it. (list up to 5 player names of the top skilled ones) are the most well known." or something like "(player name) is so powerful that he/she has only been defeated (number of times) time by (player names)." something along those lines would be super cool and potentially (if possible) to have the legends or stories stretch to neighboring villages and the farther the story goes the less accurate and more legendary it becomes (referring to gods as opposed to people and defeating hundreds as opposed to tens and so forth)

let me know if this is a possibility because like i said i would love to have the Chiitsuki's be like legendary gods in the stories

Sounds good,as long as you have to work for it.

By the way..... i think i have allready seen something like that in another game.
In that game,NPC,s started to say all kind of things about certain clans.
Worked well.

That sounds awesome. Would definitely prove who's better than who without SOME of the arguing. The proof would be with the unbiased sad pathetic NPCs

Pretty sure everyone would want to have their clan/org viewed as "legendary" in the game, but in reality most won't even come close to that ideal.
Your best bet to become a "legend" would be to be active on the game (when it's out) and generally doing something incredibly positive or negative (Madara was also a legend, albeit a notorious one)

Limits was sort of made a legend by people such as @Mars simply because of his skill at the current stages of the game.

This would only benefit the player with the title though,and it would also look odd to have that thing floating above your head.
NPC,s who speak about the recent actions of clans would be more RP friendly.

If you really want to be considered "legends" in SLO instead of relying on npcs get your clan to the point where regular players see your clan has a God level clan...and the legend status is talked about through the players instead...
This would really only be useful if there was a need for some intense rp

hah that would be funny if someone was called TheLegend27 and you are just walking around and an npc says "I heard TheLegend27 once defeated 10 000 shinobi by himself"

I like your idea with the fact that npc talk about stuff that reflects the actual gameplay!

and besides, there's gonna be leaderboards

what the real question should be is exactly what is gonna be on the leaderboards...

chakra amount? jutsu number? damage done? damage receieved? no of jutsu? no of jutsu per element/specialisation? kills?

I could go on....

but yare, leaderboards and word of mouth should do this already

I agree with Manuster cause Leaderboards could help add more pedigree to clans who are shown there and could also add more reason to why clans and Shinobi need to be active af to maintain their position or even push for the top

Though i hope the Leaderboards only show the top 50 in each village and top 100 globally
