Yup, what an impatient boi.
-
Very impatient indeed.
It might take a couple of years for BETA to be released. I think that in next 2-3 years we might be able to play SLO BETA version.
-
Alpha? Something? More jutsus? clothes? like yeah I am impatient cause Naruto is ma lifeeee
-
Naruto is your life? I am deeply saddened by that and you have my condolences.
New jutsus, clothes and other things will be announced earlier, and I mean definitely.
The thing is that I am also pretty much sure that there will be mobile version of game earlier than PC version.
-
The meaning was that I love Naruto so much.
Not that I live only thanks to that.................................................................

Heroz...
it's your life and you get to do whatever you want with it
everyone has his.. so don't let anyone control you with their opinions
-
wtf? wdym, this is not related...
-
The game is still VERY early indev, so any real progress is a blessing. If you just want to play a finished game, come back in a few years to test the beta version.
If you're equally interested in the journey and community, make a character, join an organization, and stay for a while. We'd love to have you.

Where did you infer this? Vreg himself said that a successful PC release would need to predate a mobile version, if a mobile version is ever even developed.

borael.. ?
-
Vreg is working on everything by himself.
He needs a team or partner.
Then it woud take less.
-
Don’t hold your breath people have offered to help and have bin turned down because vreg wants to code it himself.

I think another big part of it is funding. I doubt the project has the money to finance a team of full-time programmers, as of yet, and I don't reckon many people have applied who actually have the necessary experience to make a video game.
-
No there are members that are working on other games right now!! It’s not about there skill its about control.

Yes, you're correct, however I believe that it is cheaper and easier to make mobile version, easier to hit light with it and he could even earn some money to continue project on PC version. That's just my opinion though. Personally I would like to have PC version and nothing else.

Outside of the current developers, the only thing we know for sure about the majority of people who even see the application form is that they like Naruto.
I never said skilled developers don't exist here. I said that (a) they don't care to apply and work full-time for a pre-alpha project like this one, and (b) the game isn't well financed enough for Vreg to seek out a hired team.

You're right that mobile games are easier to develop, but it is more difficult to port a PC game to be compatible with the mobile format. That would require all new resolution and design/layout for UI, as well as different control support, which is especially difficult with the way hand seals are used in the game.
Making a mobile version before finishing the PC version is actually not the best idea, as it warrants the separate development of two separate SLO projects. The idea of parallel development would work best for a small side project which could be completed and marketed quickly and easily.

no matter how many years it takes, I just hope this game is seriously finished because it promises a lot

Hopefully accurate, though Discord updates will have to take the place of real progress for the forseeable future.
-
At the current rate I'd say about 10-20 years.

Grass updates coming when Belgium wins World Cup 2018, though.

For realll???

I hope that this game gets the proper funding that it needs, because I seriously enjoy the concept of what the devs are trying to create, and I think it shows a lot of promise. I hope it comes soon!

Good thing you're keeping hope. Been over a year since the last update and the dev is still saying the same thing about his progress.

I really believe in these nootropics (https://www.muscleandfitness.com/supplements/best-nootropics/) and I started it long time ago :3
Who knows what going on behind the scenes... He's probably overhauling some systems, which can take ages. As long as he doesn't abandon the development, I'm happy.

Just Believe! Have patience <3

if it's that easy to tell people to believe, then many more people would be religious :\

SLO's resting state is the inter-update content hiatus. Anything more than nothing is like a gift from God.
-
maybe that's the strategy..
maybe the love for anime (especially naruto) is being taken advantage of here..
i mean if they changed this game to something non naruto related, i would most probably leave...

If a Naruto game is what you want, check out one of the many similar MMO's which is actually seeing consistent progress.
