I think that it would be a decent idea that if you kill the leader of an organization, it would give you the option of dismantling their organization. It would put pressure on leaders. It is realistic, look at Alexander the Great and the Macedonians, once he died the empire split into three groups because there was no true heir.
-
It would make it more important for a leader to be protected
-
Disband*
-
That's a brilliant idea. It would also encourage the members to stay friends with each other incase anything happens
-
but what if the group has no real leader like ours?
-
I would think that it would have to have a leader. I don't think we can really change that. What I would do is put m4r1us as 'leader' and name the 'leader' position 'Global Moderator'. Also I would make the Yugure a separate rank with the same powers as the 'leader' position. Therefore, you have 6 leaders and one GM who holds the group owner rank.
-
Im against this idea. If i'm not mistaken the akatsuki was originally led by Yahiko & after he was killed Nagato/Pain took charge and kept the group going(although it was obitio who was pulling the string the akatsuki didn't disband)

May I suggest you read the red colored bold parts one more time. That should pretty much explain it to you.
If you don't understand what I mean, imagine how the Akatsuki would have turned out if Hanzo killed Nagato.

I get it but this game is to be realistic, not all plans die out because the leader was killed, sometimes they do, other times they simply change. Countless real life situations can prove that.

I agree, besides a leader can appoint an heir beforehand. If there is no heir, then the organization would automatically get disbanded, that would make more sense. And if there is an heir, then the organization continues (or dies because of new and failed leadership).
-
Sounds like a good idea, I like it.
-
everybody agree say "YEE HAW!"
-
In the past, every time a leader resigns or dies, somebody takes their place, otherwise entire governments would have collapsed by now... So I guess Vreg's right
-
i guess u could still kill some officers and other high ranks to make sure no heir is alive before killing the leader, but u should kill em all at once since the leader can just assign a new heir if he finds out that his former heir is killed.
-
This seems a pretty good idea, it would cause you trouble though. If you kill a leader of an organisation I'm sure you'll have the cronies after you in an instant
-
well true but wat if there wasnt any trace of the killer

Then you're very sneaky and the organisation could fall apart.

as i said, kill em all at once. and those cronies wouldnt get the news that soon, im sure they would get the news when u have already killed every possible heir + the leader/council. its not waterproof, but its really the best thing to do if u wanna dismantle an org, imo.

It'll be hard to kill a whole organisation at once

Not to mention, if you kill the leader, just because that char is gone doesn't mean news won't travel. He could easily tell one of the higher ups in the group that he was killed and/or who killed him.
Metagaming ftw.

I think Vreg mentioned somewhere that you can only talk about the game ingame, or not on the forums. Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if this isn't true I think it would be good as people can't leak information if you reveal your trump card in a battle and kill them

Metagaming is allowed on any type of server except for the Roleplay ones. So one would better be careful with what he says outside the game. And especially to whom.

Such a bad/illogical idea.No offence mate.
-
^ who is that towards?
-
Oh....hi Xendrus...(fuck u).
I don't know what to say, organizations have leaders and sub-leaders, right hands and so, so it's not a good idea by just killing somebody the org falls apart, it could cause panic and fear but that's it.
