Village Flags

I think it would be fine if there were village emblems, not necessarily flags but just some sort of symbol of heritage.

I'm getting the whole idea of "Village Honor", but to put it in the form of some special object seems like a bit of a waste of time. An enemy shinobi could easily raise a building to the ground--or kill one of your friendly shinobi--to get the same effect. Also, they wouldn't have to take such a risky action, and would have a more likely chance of success.

That's not to say that this is entirely a bad idea, I could definitely see it as a small event made by players, or even as some aspect of roleplay.

We could make the flags so that if the village's flag is outside of the village, members of that village are unable to use their village's chackra mix techniques. For examples, members of the hidden lighting village cannot use storm techniques however if the hidden hill village has the other flag a larger percentage of their members will be able to use the mix of chackras.

lol jawillia1987 is in favour of your idea. He just added that perhaps the flag should be more than a symbol; it should be the key of some sorts to using the village's special element so as to increase the incentive to retrieve your flag if stolen.

So say i started from a predominantly low populated village, and i luckily managed to get my chakra mix, but my flag was in the hands of the enemy, and because of the low populated ninja resource in the village, we wouldn't be able to retrieve it for quite some time; and if i got killed knowing i had a chakra mix but never got to use it, i'd be pretty pissed off. See what i mean, I know where you're coming from but it would just be silly if you ask me.

But commenting on limits, I think if the flag was made so it can be moved around the village that makes it more difficult for the invading village, and even if all the flags reset at the end of the month. Also maybe not tie it to the chackra mixes, but what if smaller villages got a bigger daily/weekly/whatever bonus as long as they have their flag? This makes it so smaller villages would want to grow

No bonuses or chakra mixes will be involved. It will be simply, Each village has a village flag. Other vilages can go for these flags and steal them for themselves or sell. Stealing a flag will most likely start a war or not. Simple. Jutsu or anything have nothing to do with it.

Naw dont think a flag should matter at all that's more with clans then villages. But for villages i think a village scroll should be the gain rather than a flag the scroll should hold all the history in the village so it will matter to the the people of that village more than the flag.

that's why i said scrolls a flag isnt really that special.
