Personally, this doesn't apply to me. I also believe that there's a lot of truth in what dragon has said. Sex and Gender are synonymous in the English language whether anyone wants to accept that or not. A lot of the genders people are identifying as, are a little bit out of bounds if you ask me. Some of them are just remixes of each other but have personality traits, sexual preference, emotions, favorite drink, childhood friend etc. I'm pretty insensitive on the topic I guess, I just don't think I understand it.

However.

Even though the topic is useless for me personally, I'm aware that some people don't like to be defined under male and female. If someone wants to identify as whichever "gender" they feel like at any certain given time? By all means do what makes you happy. Hell  if you want to be a 1968 Ford Mustang with a banana smoothie in the cup-holder, go for it. Obviously the latter was a little more ridiculous than the given examples, but all I'm saying is, everyone should feel welcome and accepted for who they are and I'm at the least glad somebody made the thread.

This is really unlucky considering I've got warning points already, but this is exactly that topic that I can't ignore. Like it or not, but there are 2 ONLY 2 GENDERS. Even, if those people don't "identify" themselves as male or female, SCIENCE says otherwise. I am really sick of these fucked up people, who just made up some "new" gender then blame society for not getting accepted. Those people are disgrace of this world, and only moan about society. This is the last thing we need here.  This forum is not a safe space crap, you won't get a hug here or called "brave" for being a weirdo. Luckily this thing exists in one or at least 2 countries only. I am totally against the thing you just suggested, and I bet everybody agrees me, who did not lose his mind. I really hope this is a trolling and you are not serious. It is not a "wether anyone wants to accept that or not" question. The scientific fact is that there are only 2 genders, like it or not. Imo you are what you're born as but that's just me.
jcryer was born as a girl but identifies as a guy and I also don't have a problem with that I just don't think you should be able to change your gender without surgery.

I had to write a paper on the difference between sex and gender for my psych assignment. There is a difference. Sex is biological and binary, male or female, determined by your sex organs at birth. Gender is what you identify as, regardless of what you are born as.
