Yeah, people that apply for mod are automatically not eligible for it, it's a personal rule I have.

I think you should have a permanent section for moderator applications where you can pick out worthy users and replace inactive mods (if any).

Nova, Kai, Cedie <--- three mods are enough.
(no offense to other mods, but these three are the only ones actively moderating enough to be noticeable)

Plus, there's no need for a recruitment system for mods, since Vreg and/ or The Community hand pick worthy mods.

Still gonna keep you under a testing phase for now, I don't really trust you saying "I'm sorry", since you've done that countless times already.

People are bound to be suspicious, you're known for breaking your promises / apologies.
Apologizing was a start, however to make people trust you or forgive you will take some time.
Simply saying "I'm sorry" doesn't always fix whatever wrongdoings you did.
It doesn't work that way in the real world, nor should it work on the internet.
