Nara clan jutsu -slo style!!!

So I really think there should be some kind of Kiting jutsu... it's a classic Mmorpg strategy to
Brake up a mob or group.

However it can't be shadows and I don't know how else to do it other then Genjutsu.

However I would want the same effects as
Shadow position - movements are reflected
Shadow strangle- (stamina drain)
And
shadow stitching (damage-not possible in genjutsu )

These 3 jutsu would be some of the most usfull in the game.
I would be so willing to play this character if I could have medical ninjutsu and Fuinjutsu!!!

The combination of traps and healing would be amazing!!!

But what do you all think.

Could there be a ninjutsu nature that this would work with??

The only thing I can think of is earth.

-earth (like you said), I assume you mean stepping on a traped part
-water, basicly the same way as earth, just on water ofc

You could have similar jutsu with lightning chakra,which would be used to control electical impulses (shadow posession) and mess up your internal organs  (shadow stitching/strangle). It wouldn't really be a trap. You would probably have to hit your opponent in some way.

Yeah like shikamaru's jutsu dose. You cast the jutsu on them. Then they mirror your movements.

So if you move right they move to there right
You walk forward they walk forward.
This of course dose no damage.
However say your standing next to a big cliff
And you catch them with the jutsu..
It would be so much fun to switch places with them then walk backwards and watch then fall off.
Or make them run in to a Barrier trap you set up.
Or a pitfall
Or just hold them so they stay out of a fight.

I like the lightning style idea!!!
Wind and fire I guess would be the only 2 it would not work for.
Water you could control the water in there body
Same with the carbon in the body for earth.

Give the jutsu a time limmet and a range max and I think you got a complete jutsu.
As a more advanced version of this you could have the option to invert movements
So if you go right they go left if you back up they move forward and so on. This is so you can lead them to a pre planned trap like shikamaru did with that "way of Jashien" guy

Hidan*, and yes, i like this idea very much. I think this will make a great crowd control jutsu. Not sure if it should be genjutsu or not tho

How about instead of a range limit just make it more chakra intensive the further you go?
Well it would be kind of boring if all the elements have the same jutsu, just different graphics and the area where it works. If this idea gets in it would be fun to be the guy who can preform this jutsu on land and water.
Having more power like Shikamaru in that Hidan scene should definitely be a part of this jutsu!

So you cant use weapons.

I suggest a possession jutsu where you can make someone or a crowd act according to your will be made a genjutsu, no need for chakra natures. Of course you can't damage them by just controlling their actions through yours directly, but you can make an army fight itself to some extent and ofc you could always walk them off a cliff or something of that nature.

I think there could be both.
The genjutsu would be timed and could be broken with a high enuph genjutsu skill and has a flat chakra cost, and you can weld a weapon while active.

The ninjutsu is nature based, can't be broken, but must be focused and lasts as long as you have chakra.

Sounds fair enough. This'll be some really useful/powerful jutsu if implemented tho

Why not make a BSDM jutsu instead, would be more useful and any chakra nature can learn it. tho this really is op when you consider ppl will know a whole lot more abilities than shikamarus team, and the other guy was monsterous. Many gamers have a zerg mindset. ie trap, everyone in the squad kills them with layers of aoes and stabbing, grab the next one, repeat.

    For nara in SLO One thing that came to mind, long as there is no bs autotarget hardly anyone will be able to connect this technique during a fight depending on how it triggers. reflection is easily a genjutsu, but you need a way to trigger it using the senses the character can detect, like a blade of fancy blowing grass touching their hitbox or a certain sound as it is cast that checks against the sound settings or if their camera is facing it.
Since this jutsu is not shadow, the trap needs an indicator. earth grabbing their legs is one idea, the reflection jutsu could use metal style but that is rare, maybe you need earth jutsu and a broken glass item to make a mirror that appears and then shatters indicating its begun, want it to not be completely obvious. strangling is more of a genjutsu thing imo as its an unshakeable hand that can do whatever it wants so  the illusion of damage and then an unconcious state might be better. the effect would not become complete if they resist for long enough. maybe it throws out chakra that you need to connect inside their hitbox then wrap them in chakra threads that try to close in a noose.

It's true we did not address targeting. Maybe for ninjutsu forms- it's a slow moving shock wave animation of the
Elements media. I e
Static shock wave -fastest-uses most cps
Water shock wave -mid- uses less cps
Earth shock wave -slowest- least amount of cps
Cps=chakra per second
Visable and there for Dodge and blockable!!!

Targeted like wind bullet. Shockwave slightly slower then wind bullet.
You will know when your hit because you will be hitting keys and nothing will work... lol

For genjutsu- because it can be broken- auto target is fine, And effect instantaneous.
This type of genjutsu would be used in combination with Kenjutsu most often.
As for hitting with genjutsu sight and sound
Would be the best option. Like you said.
