Have you tried these options:
-Running the game as an administrator.
-Turning off your firewall / making it an exception.
-Turning off your antivirus.
-Made sure you downloaded the correct version.
-Restarted your computer

The server was down yersterday and it still is, thats probably your problem.
we all cant play for the meanwhile until the server comes back up
no, thats actually is the problem. you can always check if the servers online or not by clicking on the forum button on the navigation bar on the top of the page
