Switching from PS4 to Xbox

Hey guys,

I own a PS4 pro which was upgraded from a PS4 , I was about underwhelmed by the lack of noticeable difference between the condoles. I'm going to change console (for social reasons) but I am sitting on the fence about whether to upgrade to Xbox X or stick with the S.
I have a 4k HDR TV but is the X must different to the S? Do the games play at a higher FPS?
