Effects of being in a clan

I was thinking that when ur in a clan with a certain amount of prestige the clan should get a certain boost for their members. For example all members would have a 2% strength boost and a 1% speed decrease. Also as your prestige increases so can your boost.

I don't think clans will give you any bonus. By joining a clan you admit that you will fit in their characteristics. For e.g. If you are part of a clan that has as characteristics high resistance it doesn't mean that when you create your character you will have high resistance, but that you will grow your character so finally he will have high resistance.

Being in a clan shouldn't give you a bonus. This is because being in a clan already gives you the ability to team up and share with your clan mates. You can already pass down abilities through a clan bloodline, and I think that these should be the only advantages. I don't think it's realistic that being in a clan gives you stat boosts.

I don't really feel a clan should have certain abilities or disabilities. The only real advantage should be a bloodline trait. As Kayleb said, this would be far from realistic. Just because your clan is prestigious why should leech off their abilities and become better because of them?
