Who Cannot Take Niclosamide?
« on: May 03, 2024, 10:34:05 »

Niclosamide 500 mg is generally safe for most people, but certain groups should avoid or be cautious with its use.

Pregnant women should avoid niclosamide unless specifically prescribed by a healthcare professional. It's also not recommended for nursing mothers as it can pass into breast milk.

Children under 2 years of age should not take niclosamide unless directed by a doctor. For older children, dosage should be carefully monitored by a healthcare provider.

Individuals with liver or kidney problems should use niclosamide cautiously, as it may affect these organs.

If you have a history of seizures or are currently experiencing seizures, niclosamide may not be suitable for you.

People with hypersensitivity or allergies to niclosamide or any of its ingredients should not take this medication.

Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new medication, especially if you fall into one of these groups.
