Taijutsu Control

I noticed a lot of players have been wondering how you guys will do Taijutsu, and I believe I have an answer.

Essentially, the combat of Taijutsu will work almost like Ninjutsu. With your ninjutsu, you press different keys to combine handsigns. With taijutsu, you should press different keys for different stances/modes of combat. Using the Q and E keys, you switch between Fist and Kick stances. Then, you simply use your mouse to aim which ways your punches and kicks go (much like a regular weapon, such as a staff or sword). R is then used to activate the Inner Gates (once you have learned how to use them).

Example: Player presses R four times in succession and thusly activates the fourth inner gate.

By chaining kicks, punches, the power of the inner gates, aiming, and movement direction (W A S and D), a Taijtsu player, or even just a player using Taijutsu will be able to become a deadly fighting machine capable of fighting in ways close to Kakashi and Obito's fight (maybe without the kicking of kunai at opponents). Anyone who really masters this fighting form will be able to chain punches, kicks, gates, and jumps in rapid succession for impressive results. Plus, this in itself uses little chakra (though something like a stamina bar would be necessary to keep it from being OP).

Hope you guys agree or at least consider taking some of the ideas listed above.

I hope the inner gates equivalent in SLO could be activated by pressing many keys in succession.
So you get told the keys to press and you have to press them all in a certain time.
For instance; if there were 20 keys in the combo used to activate the inner gates equivalent, you'd have to press all 20 keys in order in less than 10 seconds or something like that.

WOW, this is a good idea. But if you do use the 7th or 8th gate, there should be a consequence. Also, the 7th and 8th gate should only allow like 30 seconds, before all your health is drained

Opening a gate should not be as easy as simply pressing a key, it should be a series or combination of keys. Ok, pressing a key would cause you to use either fist or leg, any idea how a specific taijutsu special skill gets activated?

Ummm, with other keys I'm assuming. You guys need to remember that this is more or less an outline I'm providing that I hope the devs could work off of or improve. Glad you like some of the ideas though :)

I think last gate should just kill and it would be used only in great need(to save your ppl and stuff like that just in like real naruto.) It would be cool because you know, someone fights you and he even don't know that you are able to open that gate, and then you beat the s*it out of him^^ As to all gates...one button? well...I remind that even byakugan had a seal or at least people were using it to concentrate. After time when they were better they didnt have to use a seal - same to gates, at start Rock Lee was wasting some time that opponent  could use, so opening them in battle was hard because he had to stand still and concentrate. Later on he didnt have to do that for...first few gates  so my idea is to make it like this - more powerfull you are, less time needed to open certain gates. Also make it a channeling maybe? Also opening gates should work like - if you're more exhausted you can open less gates, after opening gates and time of that buff will pass...well youre in pretty s*itty position son!

Sounds pretty do-able, I like the fatigue affect idea there, though I think everyone kind of already knew that would happen. As for the channeling time in relation to skill with that actual jutsu, I think it would more or less work like very other jutsu in the game. The more you practice with it (from using it in training or combat), the more experienced you become with it and the faster/more effective you are when doing it.

Imo you should keep one key pressed (e.g. E) , then aim with your mouse , and click to hit.
But if you right-click you should kick or punch with your right foot or hand and if you left-click you should kick or punch with your left foot or hand.

As for the skills , you should keep 2 (or more) key pressed (like E and Q or something) and them aim with your mouse.

And about the stamina , I think there should be something like primary and secondary stamina.
Your secondary stamina decreases as you give too much hits (to avoid infinite combos and whatnot) , but will increase quickly.
It also decreases quickly if you run too fast.
Your primary stamina decreases if you fight for too long or run too long.
